    That I can agree on.

I really think it's up to the two people as to how it should be and what works for them, as long as they are in agreement.

If I'm dating a man, I certainly don't expect him to handle household chores, bills, etc at my house. Nor would I be doing all that at his place. That's crazy. If you are living together or married then things should be set up together.

    Lol.

So you don't want him keeping an eye on the fluids, doing any maintence or advising you when to take it to the shop?

How about if he looks at it before you take it to the shop? You do know that a lot of mechanics lie?

I have no problem with any of it if she's cooking, cleaning, being my friend and confidant, not stressing me out with petty bullshit, being thrifty with the budget and draining my balls as needed. If I'm getting that, she doesn't have to worry about doing any of this unless she wants to.

I can do that myself, like I wrote nobody but me and my mechanic touches my car.

Of course not. But.....that ain't what she's talking about trust me lmao. Ive had more experiences than I want with women like this. Not saying this applies to all women and just about all my experiences like this came from bw lol. Had all these demands off top, and we're only on the 3rd date. I'm like damn what are you bringing to the table besides a big mouth.

If a woman was pregnant with my child she will be spoiled and well taken care of. Especially my wife. She would've earned the right to have a list of demands lol.

Not exactly. You have to remember some guys have been used up from these types of women too. They may be the sweetest men to marry or even man to date once you get past that. If he's like that all the time drop his ass.

Nobody should feel used and abused, financially or otherwise.

How long do you guys typically just "date" someone before the relationship is considered something more than that? I once posted an article in the international section on how dating in Europe is different to the US, and I get the feeling it really is:)

And it goes w/o saying that when you are just in the early stages of getting to know each other everyone has their own life, including bills, household chores etc. Afterall, you were surviving before you met that person. But in the original post it said "has a man" which sounds like being "together, together". Maybe that means something different to me than to you guys.

I have been living alone since 2013, I had to learn to do it myself.

My problem with her post is that nowhere does it state what she is doing to get all these done for her. Is she cooking meals? Not that much of a headache? Holding the house down while I'm working to pay the bills? Keeping her health and appearance together? Being supportive while I'm going through stressful times? Improving her life through school or other endeavors? Staying out of other men faces? Staying out of social media drama? Making us look good publicly by not being a hoodrat? Taking care of my/our children while I'm working to support the family? Being smart and not blowing the money on bullshit? Doing all the freaky things or most when I'm in the mood?

Or is all of this just implied I must do cuz we're together and that's what she demands. I feel that if a man posted 4 pics of what is necessary his woman do for him there would be outrage. Calling him all kinds of names lol. There's always posts telling the fellas what we should do, but the ladies that post this never say "I'm a good woman that will be.... what will you as a man bring to our Union?".

Speaking for me it's all about the energy of the other person. If we're dating for like 2 months and it just feels like we're just sleeping together, I won't move forward with relationship talks. However you can be with a person and off the jump you feel like this is something special. From then I will get a feel what her expectations are. Relationships are give and take so I'm willing to do what it takes to make it work.

I don't mind taking out the garbage, taking the groceries as all that I do myself anyways. I agree in Europe and other places outside North America, the relationship dynamic is totally different.

Thanks for that list, that was interesting. Especially the not being a hoodrat and staying out of social media drama, lol!
We will never know what exactly the op meant and whether she's bringing something to the table. I was just surprised how fast all the guys jumped up to protect their wallet etc but I think on closer examination we can agree.

Eh I don't mind spending money on a good woman that deserves it. There's great women out there that I wouldn't probably even have this conversation with because a great woman understands what it takes to hold a good man down. She ain't afraid to put his ass in check either, and for that I'm willing to give my all.

What's a real man these days?

Good question. Somebody who is willing to grow up and take responsibility in life. I get tired of all these men in their thirties who still think they are too young to commit, too young to have a family, too young for pretty much anything except sleeping around.
And it's not about the figure he's making, but at least he should know what he wants to do with his life and he working on it. Somebody who isn't a pushover, but not too macho to help out with chores and childcare.
