What is your idea of a perfect date? I had one of the best yesterday and one the week before. Yesterday----wonderful walk aroud a beautiful lake olding hands ...followed by a picnic and :smt008 Last Friday....romanctic dinner, with exoctic food and slow dancing:smt055
Stan Fields: Miss Rhode Island, please describe your idea of a perfect date. Cheryl "Rhode Island": Well, my idea of a perfect date would be April 25th. Because it's not too warm or too cold, and all you need is a light jacket.
I've had a few really awesome dates. My first awesome date was with ChosenOne. We went to the MFA in Dallas, and apparently I helped him appreciate art that day. lol But it was lovely, regardless. Then there was the day I went to the Japanese garden, the park, and the science museum with Nate. Fantastic! Yeah, I like museums. lol It was also awesome when Nate took me out to a nice Mexican restaurant, simply because it was one of those spur of the moment kind of things.
The best date I've had so far has been during a sunset sail on a tall sail ship where I got to see whales playing in the Caribbean sea and my gracious host plied me with "love potion #9" drinks, lol. This was followed by dancing and fine dining. Just lovely.
My BEST date bar none, was when my man made me dinner - I sat across the counter and we talked and drank some wine.... We had candle light and music going. After we ate, he put on some romantic music and we just kept talking - then he just jumped up and dragged me to my feet... and we slow danced for a good while.....
the best dates dont take much money or complexity really oh, and I saw your boob comment - yes, I agree - we cant have me have smaller boobs than you, LOL.. that was funny!
Anything where we click and it is shown that we know each other. An ex of mine used to take me to fancy restaurants, and hotels and things...But, it's not me. How can I say something against that? Because it's so typically what women enjoy? But it only proved to me that he didn't know me, or understand me. I would have been happier going to the Art gallery, a drive to the country, staying in watching a film, drink beers and talking rubbish at a bar. If someone proves they just get me, and aren't trying to be fancy about it, or overthinking it, then that's a perfect date to me.
Never been on a date. Now onto the topic. My idea? Shit, hmmmmm. Cruisin' around town, listening to music, talkin', walking anywhere, just talkin' n' shit. Or chillin', playing' video games, or watching anime. Oh lordy, I would love that. Watching Naruto togethersmt054:smt055:smt007), or talking about what mangas are hella badass, and finding out what other things she likes. Yeah, I'm not the traditional movie, dinner, MoMo(motel) type of person. I guess I could fuck with the traditional date though, but that's not perfect.
So true! One of my best first dates ever was when I was an under grad student. Both of us were broke, instant noodle eating people. He made PB, honey and banana sandwiches and took me to the park. He put down a blanket, pulled out the sandwiches and we ate them in the sunshine. Then he took out my favourite book and read to me. SWOON Not bad for $1.50
It was Athena. Fancy can be nice but.....use your mind a bit, read to me and touch my hair. I am like putty. Putty I say!
