Lol, it's just my opinion. No need to get all argumentative. But you shouldn't assume that just because people don't like witnessing other people making out on buses for example, that it's jealousy.

Excessive amounts of PDA is tacky & trashy. I remember a group of my friends & I waiting for a table at this restaurant and next to us was this nasty, ugly couple open mouth kissing, talking in baby voices, him caressing her ass (basically thinking he was a pimp lol). My friend turned to me and said "I just lost my appetite":smt043 I busted out laughing.
Yeah Iggy, I have seen slobbering throat inspections combined with dry humping - I mean literally laying almost horizontal - on a Ship, a playground slide, and in a nightclub. I felt nauseated.
I don't have a problem with PDA as long as it's not to the point of being skanky! When couples carry on like they're making soft core porn, it's embarrassing! It's like they're trying to prove something by putting on a show! Either that or they're drunk (that was my excuse when I was making out with a guy at a party when I was at school)! Oh well! He was fine & I was drunk so it seemed like the right thing to do at the time! Hand-holding, smooches, hugs, arm around the waist or shoulders & an occasional squeeze in public is okay by me!
Bah, I don't even make out with my Nate in public and people still complain. What are the complaints? If we're together we're holding hands unless they're otherwise involved, i.e. carrying something, paying for something, working, etc. I mean it's not like we're attached, but if our hands are free they tend to be together, which I love. It's sweet, and it makes me feel nice. When we're on the elevator at school I'll generally lean up against him. Not in front, more of a side kinda thing. I'd put my head on his shoulder but he's too tall, so I tend to lean on his chest a little. Nothing overtly sexual, and most due to me being tired in the first place. I give him a quick hug on occasion, especially if I'm going somewhere and I'll be gone a while, like if I'm working in another room at school and it'll be a few hours before we take a break or something. I'm not all over him constantly. The occasional peck on the lips sneaks it's way in if we're not busy, but we definitely don't make out. So the complaints are a bit annoying. Though, the complaints have -all- come from single people...who've been single for more than just a short amount of time. I mean...really? It offends you that I hold my boyfriend's hand? Well enjoy using -yours- while I go get laid. *rme* Most of the time I don't even kiss or hug him in public, but damnit if I feel the need to I will. It's not like we're getting naked and fucking on the table in front of people. lol We keep it pretty PG cause I'm not into exhibitionism like that! lol I like being a freak in the bedroom...ok, well, if there were no roommates then the rest of the house, too, but certainly not in front of anyone. lol
I don't mind it at all EXCEPT when I am in uniform, in fact I HATE IT when I'm in uniform. I feel so uncomfortable. I always chalk it up to the differences in culture between Dog Face and Jar head. But gawd to I hate it. I don't mind hugs, kisses, hand touching, I like to sneak in a booty squeeze here and there but I'm not tonguing her down at the movies, and trying grope up on some boobies.
