I had read recently about Sylvester Stallone saying that the actor he wants to play John J. Rambo is Ryan Gosling. Stallone believes that Gosling has the same traits that he used in the first First Blood film. What do you guys think?
Based on the novel by Philip K. Dick. In this world, Hitler got the atomic bomb and dropped it on Washington! The Axis divided North America: the Greater Nazi Reich in the East, the Japanese Pacific States in the West and a no-man’s-land buffer zone in the Rocky Mountains.
No doubt those of you who are heavily into anime are pretty familiar with this old show already, but I've recently started watching "Death Note" with my son since he decided to watch the series again. Good stuff.
That reminds me of the book Fatherland, which put up the supposition of what if Germany had won the 2nd World War. It was made into a movie with Rutgers Haier. Though it was a futuristic story, it was also a murdered mystery.
First Official Pic From The Upcoming Wonder Woman Movie The full cast of the film was also announced, and that cast consists of Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (the Harry Potter films), Ewen Bremner (Exodus: Gods and Kings), Saïd Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead).
Wow, she's stunning in this pic! I'm also excited to see The Man In The High Castle as well. Rufus Sewell is a great villain!
Seeing what they are able to pull of on a CW budget makes me even more pissed off at how shitty Agents Of SHIELD is.
Is this the general consensus here on the forum about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? I race home after class to catch it but usually only get the last 20 minutes. I enjoy it, but it hasn't blown me away, either. But any excuse to see Ming-Na Wen is a good excuse.
Set your dvr. You need to see the eps from the start. If your a fan of Whedon's way of story telling, then you'll understand what I mean. Once they got into the second season AOS has been every bit as good as Arrow and Flash, to me. And, it keeps getting better. However, they don't do much fan service on AOS like they do on the CW superhero shows. But, that doesn't bother me as long as they tell good stories.
It's the lack of fan consideration that is at the root of why I think it's a mediocre show. Say what you will about Arrow and The Flash, but at least those shows know how to adapt the "comic book" nature of their source material.
