Like what FOX did with Almost Human, Minority Report probably won't see a second season even though the shows had such potential. :(

It's funny how we always viewed movies on their releases as greatest achievements, and yet, decades later, they become criticized.

J.J. ABRAMS: Characters REY and FINN's Last Names in STAR WARS: FORCE AWAKENS Are Purposely Secret.

    Article from Newsarama.com.

    What's in a name?

If Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams is to be believed, quite a lot.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the director divulged that it was no accident that the full names of main characters Finn and Rey (played by John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, respectively) had yet to be revealed. “I will only say about that that it is completely intentional that their last names aren’t public record,” said Abrams.

While the director stayed mum on revealing new details about Finn and Rey, he did share details about a new character - Teedo, seen riding a large armored creature called a "luggabeast" in photos released Wednesday. Teedo is played by Kiran Shah, an actor and stuntman who is a veteran of Star Wars films dating back to Return of the Jedi.

Abrams also dropped some details about General Hux, played by Domhnall Gleeson, one of the leaders of the First Order, the military organization formed in the wake of the Empire. According to the director, Hux is young for a general, and longs for an opportunity to show the First Order's military strength.

I get why the girls last name might be a secret (possible the child of one or two of the classic characters) but why the black kid? Is J.J. Abrams implying that we might recognize his last name? I'm going to be a little disapointed if his last name is Calrissian or Windu.

.............oh wait a second. I had a crazy thought.

If the black kids last name is a surprise, could he possibly be a SOLO? I know that sounds silly but...

Here is a recent panel from the new Star Wars comic book issue #6.

This women claims to be Han's wife and she is clearly supposed to be black.

And since Disney/Lucasfilm have said that all the new comics, cartoons, and novels are officially canon. Could it be possible that the rumored Solo offspring isn't the girl?

There's quite a bit of speculation on who exactly a few of these characters are, mostly that they are offspring of various characters primarily from the original trilogy. Most speculation is that the Finn character is indeed Lando's son, both the Rey character and masked character wielding the funky lightsaber, Kylo Ren, are the twin children of Han & Leia and playing upon the theme that one is the light side of the force (Rey) and the other fallen to the dark side (Kylo Ren being revealed to be the name the character has assumed as a member of the Knights of Ren who serve the First Order and his masked outfit he wears inspired/some kind of homage to his grandfather Vader) and the General Hux character is in fact Luke's son (infiltrating the First Order in order to take it down from the inside).

This is again all just online fan speculation based on small bits and pieces of info that has been leaked .

I think this is a fan made trailer.

I've read four different trailer breakdowns, from four diffrent sources, and none of them match this trailer.
