Under "Most Popular Pranks", the first one "You hit my car" is the first one that was used on me.

Some of it is people get into a relationship and stop coming around. Some of it is, people just need a break and will eventually come back. And some of it is the reason you stated for them leaving.

This site has ebbed and flowed for as long as I've been here. We're just in an "ebb" right now.

Yeah... Think it's just as Bookie said. I personally have tried to wean myself from social media and focus more on my kids. My job keeps me busy and totally stressed so trying to focus on positive things I need in my life like structure, exercise, cooking, kids and other things I love.

This site is like my escape from thinking about my real life stressors but tired of most of the threads consumed with either sex, drama, or bad news. Tired of seeing the injustice, women behaving badly, fights, and news reports that continue to get worse and worse and more and more unbelievable on the tv and Facebook and I guess sometimes we just need to take a break.

I try to keep in touch with the friends I have made along the way, and I wish I had more phone numbers of some i'd like to talk to more and keep in touch.

Oh.. And the reason I came to this thread... I heard from my son the other day for the first time in 2 wks. He is becoming an army soldier and I am so looking forward to seeing him in a few months!

Actually it's funny you say that I don't know but the link you gave to me looked like the survey was closed already when I looked months ago. I figured I may have accessed too late was like a week after you sent it to me. I'm bummed.

Yes focus on you and career advancement. Same actually for me! They are setting me up for management and I've been to several trainings learning more about human resources. Specifically security classification and writing job descriptions.

Yeah, I know. I feel like there are some things I've shared that are important and even some that are special to me that I just feel like sharing with the world and sometimes it feels like oh freakin well. If it's not drama it's overlooked.

I have to admit, I feel like nobody gives a crap.

It also speaks to where society, in general, is right now. We enjoy access to the most information at our fingertips that humanity has ever had before and yet our society is so negative.

So many negatives happening and people flock to it.

The positives are left in the dust.

It makes zero sense to me.

This. Imo you can't let yourself be discouraged by strangers. This site is a great escape from the stressors that get to us all at one point or another. Nothing more, nothing less. Expecting more from strangers on the Internet will inevitably leave you dissatisfied. I try not to share anything of value or real substance here because we've seen time and time again that it just ends up being ammunition for the disgruntled folk of WWBM. My heart and sincerity is saved for those who truly value it. It's the only way to stay sane on the interwebs lol. Jmo.

Yeah I totally feel you here. I've shared some things that I had on my heart and for the most part, I don't really care whether people respond or not, but I do care about a handful of individuals on here. It would be nice to keep in touch with them through other means than this website.

I come here mainly just to get away from the stressors in life as you said and I stated earlier, but sometimes I let my heart take over when I know better. Just who I am I suppose.

 

I think a lot of us let our hearts take over sometimes. It's natural, especially as women. The key I think, is to know when to pull back. This is the first (and only) site I've ever been on so I learned as I went along. Learned pretty quick how hateful people can be and the fact that most don't want to see happiness. They want people to be as miserable as they are. So I stopped sharing. I have made a few amazing friendships on here and those people hear from me daily lol...all the stuff that's on my mind and heart!

I think people like me, who keep things very superficial here, perpetuate the lack of depth on this site. However with the amount of interal hate on wwbm, I can't blame any of us. I personally refuse to put my happiness out there for others to try and pick apart. It's a vicious cycle tho. People don't share because they'll be scrutinized for it, yet we're displeased with the superficiality of this site. That's when we need to pull back and appreciate this site for what it is, not what we expect it to be.

You're a sweet girl. Don't ever let any of this bullshit weigh you down!

My mind automatically corrects his grammer in an effort to get through his posts without a migraine lol.

 

My tablet fell down a couple of weeks ago. The screen had many of cracks. I thought hmm why not just order another broken tablet to replace parts with. So I did. The one I ordered on ebay said it doesn't turn on. Well I got around to looking at it. Held the button for more than 3 sec came on..... looks like someone didn't know how to turn on the tablet. so basically got a tablet for 36 dollars still got to fix the other though.
