I finally watched the first episode of this show. Man...that Lisa chick is basic AF, a straight up Plain Jane. Why couldn't Mailk/Randy from "The Wire" be Jane Levy's love interest? If the brotha was Jane Levy's love interest, I would've got into this show a long time ago.
Now I gotta be reminded of the stereotype that regular brothas aren't supposed to be able to pull attractive white women.
HBO's Ballers was full of IR in the pilot.
Annabelle Costa plays John David Washington's live in and very forgiving gf.
If John David looks familiar his dad is pretty famous he is Denzel's son.
Taylor Cole plays the Rocks love interest Michaels.
Hell current NFLer although still a free agent at the moment Steven Jackson made a cameo appearance coupled with a nice blond.
But then you also had the whole pro athlete married to a black woman but having a white side chick played by Taylor Cole, they end up dying in a car accident after she tells him she loves him and doesnt like the response he gives.
Numerous flirtations between the athletes and woman throughout the show.
