That's tough. Whether it was his shaming her or deeper mental health issues, it doesn't make it any easier.
Cutting off a young teen girl's hair is probably one of the cruelest forms of punishment you can do and probably isn't far off (in the girl's mind) from taking a razor blade and slashing up her face.
Much of that girl's self esteem, what little there was, was probably tied up in her appearance and her hair.
Why would her father choose a punishment that not only attacked her self-worth and self-esteem, but compound it by putting it up on YT????
I know grown up women who would lose it if some jerk cut off their hair in the middle of the night.
By cutting his emotionally traumatized daughter's hair off, this fool basically told her she was WORTHLESS.
Thanks dad.
How is this man anything but an emotional sadist???
Think about it, do any of you know a father who punished his daughter by cutting off her hair???
What was she being punished for anyway???
This man didn't deserve to have a daughter and in a twisted way it's probably better she was taken away from him.
If you abuse someone to the point they feel their only escape is to take their own lives, IMO you deserve jail time.
Fuck what he's going through emotionally, he brought that on himself.
His daughter's DEAD because of his own cruelty.
Let him feel like a POS behind behind bars for a couple years and experience the daily public shaming of inmates hating on him because he basically 'killed' his own daughter.
I'm assuming she had some mental health issues (suicide? Come on now)
People are publicly shamed every day thanks to the internet and cellphones in every pocket
I'd be more distraught over someone filming me getting knocked out by one of those knockout game kids
I think you'd be shocked how many young teen girls at least contemplate suicide, at some point, because of emotional distress. Hormones in overdrive, peer pressure/acceptance and adolescence in general has many young girls all over the map emotionally.
IMO it's not that difficult to convince a 13 year old girl her best option is to kill herself.
Humiliating her in front of the world( in her eyes) is good way to do it.

someone needs the hotline he just posted in another thread![]()
Do you know this from personal experience? Can you provide the scientific data backed with factual evidence how easy it is as well please, I'm interested.
FWIW, one of the comments on a local blog (in a conversation involving many people who know the girl) claimed the following about what led to the abuse:
My nieces went to school with her and they were told it all started when she posted a selfie to instagram and dad saw it and then began destroying her stuff and physically and mentally abusing her, then shamed her by cutting hair and posting video. Friday at school she was crying allday and was asked numerous times what was wrong. I’m also told that administration knew of something but not sure how much.
Another post also said that an "inappropriate photo" was the reason for the punishment.
Unsurprisingly, this form of emotional abuse by the father appears not to have been an isolated incident:
Kids who went to her school said they tried to tell adults that she said she was going to jump. But nobody listened. They said she was crying a few weeks ago because her father threatened to put her up for adoption.
It wasn’t just her hair getting cut off that led to this Judy. I personally knew izzy since elementary school. Her father had mentally abused her for quit some time. And after her hair got cut off she was bullied about it. Her father also took away all her clothes and guitars too, not just her hair. She had nothing left, she felt alone.
This is my daughter friend and she has passed away to today. ..that clip was just a lil bit of what her father did to her…hope CPS gets involved and lets pray for all the kids at this school
Apparently from a bunch of students that knew her, not only did her hair get cut, but he burned some of her clothes, and smashed her guitar. As of right now, it is all hearsay, but if it is true, he has some explaining to do.
Since Friday my 14 year old a close friend of this young girls, began to tell me this story. Saturday saw a link of the video, had been crying and very sad explaining to me that she was told the father not only cut her hair, posted a video, but also had cut her undergarments, destroyed her clothing and yes publicly humiliated her.
My son is a 6th grader at Giaudroni Middle School, and since I found out about this tragedy I’ve been sick to my stomach. Especially when my son told me some of the things being said about how her father treated her is some of the most horrific things I’ve ever heard of a father doing to his daughter.
Well said. It has also been reported to me that this young lady was being regularly abused by her father, which forced her to wear long sleeve shirts and pants. I am a mandated reporter, and YES I did make the report. I pay to God that the father and family are fully investigated!
And, also unsurprisingly, the public emotional abuse by her father opened her up to further, ongoing abuse by others:
One of the school teachers is a family friend she reports the girl being bullied after returning to school that had part to do with her jumping
There’s more to this story. I talked to her teacher. She was shamed in front of her peers by the principal and forced to withdraw her running for ASB Student Body President. She begged him to stop and he said wait in the hallway… She was getting bullied by family, peers, and admunitrator at school.
She was also publicly shamed at school that same day. She was made to go to school with a horrible haircut and had gotten pulled out of class by the principal for taking an inappropriate picture (I can only assume this was what the punishment was about). The other student who’s phone was used was also pulled out and this child begged the principal “please don’t do this here”. He told her to wait in the hallway and continued. All said and done this very popular girl was forced to withdraw in running for student body president, etc. One of her friends told me she was also facing bullying.
The commenters also universally said that she was a good student, nice girl, treated others well, didn't get in trouble, etc.
Three other parents in the thread also report that their children have been bullied/shamed by the principal and staff members at the school.

Here is the 15 second instagram clip of her hair being cut off. She sounded angry/annoyed. She got in trouble for "getting messed up". I don't speak everyone's slang, but it sounds like it means getting high or drunk.

Now, most (suspected) abused kids that I've seen do not have curlers to curl their hair, they don't get to have social media. They don't get to have multiple ear piercings, nail polishes, guitar and guitar playing lessons. They don't get to participate in school activities such as running for president of student body like this girl did. Look at her perfectly arched eyebrows and her iron curled hair. Who do you think paid for all of this? Her "abusive" parents. I think this is a case of a spoiled child who couldn't handle not getting there way. The "shaming" was so tame compared to others. Many females have there hair cut as punishment... It grows back.

From what I have read & from watching the video. This was her 4th time "getting messed up". Her punishment included; getting her cute clothes taken away (she had to wear unnatractive "boy clothes"), not being able to run for president of student body (which is why she was crying at school, her father came up there and told the school that she had to drop out of the election), getting her guitar taken away (which probably means she will miss a couple of music lessons) and getting her hair cut short (not shaved bald, It was neck length).
I would like to hear some opinions now that we all have more information.[/

Yeah, that would definitely be shameful.![]()
I think the one guy committed suicide after being filmed having sex with another dude
Just sayin...suddenly losing a few locks on youtube doesn't seem that bad

She was a 13 year old girl. Everything is bigger emotionally for girls at that age, particularly when Daddy is the one fucking up your head.
If you read the links to the story, he did more to break this girl down than cut her hair, which was bad enough.
Anyway, cutting off all a young girl's hair is a bigger deal than it would be for a boy.
Think of the level of teasing a girl is going to get compared to a boy in a similar situation.
Have any of you ever heard of a little girl having her hair cut off as punishment?? I didn't think so.
When some of you have a 13 year old female living under the same roof then you'll understand how psychologically evil this girl's father was.
Even if a young girl is experiencing mental health issues, her father shouldn't be the one pushing her over the edge until suicide seems like her best option.
