I cannot get a job with Wal-Mart to save my life and I had applied a hundred times over the years. That company was and still is very picky about whom they hire.
Not everyone is born to take corporate cock up the ass Takes a special breed of person for that As a side note I liked working in retail Getting a chance to interact with strangers and help people buy stuff was mostly fun for the year and a half I did it I was getting a flat rate and didn't have to worry about competitive sales performance, so that probably helped Anytime you turn a job into a perpetual race, you take the fun out of it unless ur one of those no life type-As
I worked in retail back in the days(1985-87). I worked in a women's clothing store, a grocery store(I pushed carts) and a toy store(holiday work). It was okay and it kept me quite busy at the time. But minimum wage was pretty much a pittance($3.25 an hour). So you had to take a second job every now and then. It was all about survival.
Yeah minimum wage is a joke and the people who thumb their noses at others who work in retail or fast food disgust me All of those jobs are important to everyday living yet someone who even does 40 hours in one of those fields, will more than likely be struggling their asses off to survive
It's like people who look down on sanitation workers...... After a week without trash pickup due to snow, you begin to feel the panic as ur trash buries ur home
Damn... Ronnielaine, Houston, United States, about 18 hours ago "I work at Walmart. It gets tiring watching customers come in and steal suitcases full of movies and baskets loaded down with tv's and computers. All of the laptop and iPad displays have been snatched from their cases. The expensive tv displays have been stolen. And the tablet and cell phone cases have all been broken into 3 times with ALL of the tablets being stolen every time. That's just in the entertainment department. EVERYDAY several customers help themselves to our merchandise so they can resell them on the street. Managers hold meetings and blame us employees for the theft. The theft does not raise prices, it prevents us from getting bonuses. The manager chased him because it gets old seeing people steal THOUSANDS of dollars worth of merchandise EVERYDAY and WE get blamed for it. And customers wonder why we're so rude. Because all customers do is complain and steal!"
This is awful...but I bet will have popular ratings. Men and women competing to be porn stars in new reality show The Sex Factor revealed after auditioning by 'having sex on camera' - including Wall Street intern Paige Jennings The Sex Factor is a new show that has eight men and eight women competing for a $1million prize and three-year porn contract The contestants all have no porn experience, and had sex on camera for the first time during the audition process By Chris Spargo For Dailymail.com Published: 11:59 EST, 6 February 2015 | A new reality show is aiming to turn one young man and one young woman into the next big things in the world of adult entertainment. The Sex Factor puts eight men and eight women who have no prior experience in a Las Vegas home together as they compete for stardom and a $1million prize. And among the contestants are Wall Street intern Paige Jennings, who goes by the name Veronica Vain, and recently made waves when she announces she was leaving the financial world to pursue her dreams of porn. Duke University porn star Belle Knox had previously been named as the host, but has now been replaced by Asa Akira. The show is the creation of Buddy Ruben, a former Silicon Valley software developer with no television or porn experience. 'I would say I enjoy porn as much as the next guy, no more, no less,' he said in an interview with Nightline. After a casting call went out on social media, finalists came to audition for a panel of judges that include female stars Tori Black, Lexi Belle and Remy LaCroix and the lone male of the group, Keiran Lee. Lee is a British star famous for having his penis insured for $1million by Lloyd's of London. Those who made it through the casting process also now have some experience in the business. 'They’ve actually already had sex on camera to audition,' said Ruben. As for the contestants, some have always dreamed of working in the adult film industry, while others are after the money. 'I’m not here because I want to have sex with random people,' explained contestant Allie Knox, which is not her real name. 'I’m here because I think this will elevate me to the next level. It will drive a lot of traffic for me. It will open a lot of doors.' She also said; 'I’m sitting on this huge amount of student loan debt. That’s kind of why I just need to really step up on my game in this business.' The industry has made millions for stars like Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick and Sasha Grey, and female performers earn between $500 and $1500 for one scene. Then there is Buddy Hollywood, a self-proclaimed sex addict, who says of his decision to compete on the show; 'I like to have sex and I love women, everything about them.' And while contestants won't be paid for being on the show, save the two winners who will also get a three-year porn contract, they are getting tips and guidance from a panel of experts explained Ruben. As for the show's lack of a network, Ruben teased that he would 'have a big announcement in the near future.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...luding-Wall-Street-intern-Paige-Jennings.html

Has anyone ever watched the show "Brain Games" Very interesting! This Emmy nominated series is designed to mess with the ultimate supercomputer. Host Jason Silva reveals how brains process information related to topics like stress, addiction, competition, food, trust and language. Interactive games and hidden-camera experiments capture hilarious and shocking results, and viewers get real-world takeaways -- how to improve memory, get a better night's sleep, make more money -- to use in everyday situations.
