Random Conversation 2.0

Lots of us have been trying g to say this for literally years but it always become weird. It hurst my heart that women struggles become so trivialized on here by many men. Its like some men on here seem to think it takes away from the bm struggle somehow. It's two different struggles, not to be compared, for obvious reasons.
I think the vast majority of the women on here has shown that again and again, but seldom get a compassionate response in turn when women issues are adressed.
I think no women on here is not aware of White privilege and the outrageous suffering ofnythe black community as a whole, and yet, we women get dismissed more often than not when we voice women struggles.

I don't think any regular women poster on here is trying to compare our struggles with the bm struggles, its an entirely different issue, and not comparable in NY way, shape, or form; but it should not be dismissed as much as it gets on here. After all, this is a site for bm and ww and I agree with Tam, that seems to be forgotten at times. The one reason I take breaks from here. And yes, I'm being repetitive on purpose, because unfortunately its needed.

When some men complain that not more women are adding to some discussions this is the exact reason they don't. It usually ends up with ' us and them' type response so damn if we do, damn if we don't.

I wish this place was more equally supportive at times, its a long time since it was.
Most of the time I dont care, because men I meet in real life dont act like many men on here.

I still love this community though :-)

Great post. Seems the ww are pretty unanimous on this. And I'd had the same thought too-- bm I know men in real life don't act like this. Funny

Then consider yourself living in denial if you keep this bit up. And for Bliss's post....there was nothing that fell flat. You just hate the idea of being proven wrong. Plain and simple.

This is simply not true at all.
Bliss's point fell flat because it was obvious.... never mind I'm pissing in the wind here. Like I said let's all use the ignore function and move on

I don't think he has an ugly mind. It's just his mindset is very self-centered and blatantly ignorant. For someone who claims to having or wanting to have open discussions pertaining to issues like this, he's hard-set in his own [limited] worldview and believe that everything is rosy for others, but when it comes to black [men], there are too many thorns compared to everyone else and should be the sole point of this forum, despite undermining hardships that white women go through as well.

Some people just have an ugly spirit. It clearly shows

I forgot to touch on that part of her post, but the BM I know in real life don't act that way either...not even the ones who don't date WW.

All Rise, WWBM Court now in session, the honorable judge TDK presiding!!

What else is new, TDK debating WW since 2009, lol

TDK Like I said before, fuck this accounting degree crap, go to IVY league school and get your JD, you'll be raking the dough, you got the affinity for it......

With all jokes aside, TDK, you do have valid point about the treatment of BM in America and you do bring up issues to the forum that no one else will touch but at times you take it way to extreme and come across as condescending and hostile. Due to your extreme passion for injustice issues concerning BM, you forget to look at the bigger picture and have a tendency to lump "the enemy" and friends together, there by you come across trivilizing the struggle of other groups, it might not be your intentions but.......

Yes as BM we do have it rough in America but let's not forget other groups pain and suffering.

I wasn't proven wrong she tried to post instances where the public supported a rapist and was incorrect. 9 donations(which obviously looks like the law firm as well as family and friends)totaling 1800 dollars is a far cry from the half and quarter of a million donated for Zimmerman and Wilson. Not trying to beat a dead horse but I don't tell me I'm wrong when I'm clearly not. You just want me to be wrong to fit what how you think of me.
