That is Kevin Grevioux's natural speaking voice. Listen to him in the commentary on Underworld. As Martian Manhunter, I guess he could pull it off. But, he'd be a lot tougher as Darkseid.

Yes, it's his normal speaking voice. Personally, I think his voice is more suited to Darkseid than Martian Manhunter. He did a great job in the Young Justice animated series as the voice of the Black Beetle. Michael Ironside still reigns as the voice of Darkseid from both the Superman & Justice League animated series IMO.

Michael Ironside. He does have a distinctive voice. So does Powers Boothe. Andre Braugher did the voice of Darkseid in Superman/Batman:Apocalypse.

Andre Braugher was miscast in that movie. IMHO

Kevin Grevioux's novel I, Frankenstein has been made into a feature film starring Aaron Eckhart.

I'll try to, but it's never easy making plans in my house, especially when R rated movies are involved.

Robocop. It is a classic story. But, it wasn't new. In the 1970's, there were 2 robotic cop themed shows on the ABC network. They were Future Cop, it is about a robot cop who looks human in appearance but functions perfectly, even when partnered with a veteran cop played by Ernest Borgnine. The other was a sitcom called Holmes And Yo-Yo. Detective Holmes, played by Richard B. Schull is partnered with a robot named Yo-Yo(or Yoyovich)played by John Schuck. in the early 1960's, Japan brought this country, 8-Man. I think this retelling of the 1987 film will do well. In my very honest and humble opinion, I think they should leave it alone. They were blending elements from the first 3 films and the tv series(perhaps even the cartoon). But, I prefer to give people and things like film benefit of the doubt and let them make their case. I do believe that most films should be placed in a "Hands Off" category. This is especially true for the classics. Can you imagine a remake for First Blood. I cannot see anyone but Sylvester Stallone playing John J. Rambo.
