I put up the Number 13 related material as a "Did You Know" thing since there aren't many sci-fi or comic related things out featuring a black main protagonist. Always a good thing to spotlight when found. Everyone's impressions of anything is their own to rightfully have.

Why does it seem like a dark version of Astro Boy, minus the scientist made origin story?

Probably because every possible original permutation of sci-fi/fantasy/superhero concepts have been done already. Even when something new & original does come out, some comparisons to other concepts are bound to occur.

And "No" it will not have any connections with the recent comic event of the same name that recently ended.

Also announced at Comic Con Warner Brothers plans to do a Superman/Batman movie with speculation that this will be the introduction of the new big screen Batman post Dark Knight Trilogy and official set up for DC's cinematic universe along the same vein as Marvel's current big screen productions.

Live action. With the plan being to use Henry Cavill's Superman.

Great now when I go sees it I am going to expect batman under red hood quality. No way it will stand up to that. That is the best DC comic movie ever made for me.

    Big shoes to fill

Wow did you see the Batman Returns movies?
I liked under the Red Hood but I like BR better. The writing was amazing.

Batman/Superman Movie: I've heard some people bemoaning the fact that it isn't going to be the Nolan Batman. I say good, they need a fresh take on Batman. besides the Nolan version won't mesh in a shared superhero world. If I had my way, I would't have the Zack Snyder Superman either.

Promo image For X-Men:Days Of Futures Past

I know were this image comes from, (an homage to the original Days of Futures Past) but The previous Wolverine movies establish that Logan/James is well over a hundred years old. So in the two or three decades in the future that this movie is set why would he be so aged?

possible that his healing factor stopped at a point and he went to grey and then got activated at a later time.

Might find out that answer in the new Wolverine movie since one of the plot points revolves around the elder Japanese guy who Wolverine saved in WWII at what looks like one of the two atomic bomb drops on Japan having developed a way to make Wolverine "human". And being that a few of the trailer clips show Wolverine seemingly not healing after being shot, safe to say something happens involving his healing factor.

Tom Willing as Superman and I vote for an actual American for Batman

Tom Welling will not & does not want to play Superman. He doesn't want to be typecast as Superman. Ask yourself why in the series finale of Smallville when Clark Kent finally puts on the Superman suit and cape the viewers never actually see Tom Welling in anyway in the suit. It's all various glimpses of the suit or far angle shots of someone who resembles Welling in the suit. Not one single direct shot of Welling in the suit & cape.

Batman returns? with penguin and cat woman?

    I just saw it.

Drawings are weird. very disappointing. No GL who had godlike power.
The first time that I can actually say the comic is better than the movie.
No appearance of the joker. The only reason why I watched it. It was also gruesome.

superman elite is better. It was nothing more than fight scenes.
