Dunno bout u all but I like his work

 

Yeah, I like all of his work. Star Trek purist give him a lot of flak for the new Star Trek reboot however. Hopefully there's a third movie in the works with the Klingons. The little peek of them in Into Darkness had me psyched.


I think he'll do a great job with the Star Wars franchise. Hopefully he'll make it a little edgier & darker in a few areas where it's needed like the Sith if they return & anyone who embraces the darkside.

star wars will never be as magical as when we all saw it. They need to step back from the skywalker era and move to another time.

 

That won't work for people who are fans of the original trilogy. That was one of the reasons the prequels didn't go over too well. They can move forward with the New Jedi Order under Luke Skywalker as Jedi master and focus on & introduce new characters, but trying to do Star Wars without the Skywalker connection?

 

It can be done. You have a new2 generation. You will never live up to the first three movies. You just got to walk away from it. To make it worse, You get to see an aged Luke skywalker. I prefer for that cast to stay young in my head even though my first introduction to mark hamil was in batman.

 

That's the thing. Unlike you most Star Wars fan will want to see an aged Luke Skywalker & the others from the original, even if briefly, to know their fates & for some type of closure before moving on with new characters and events.

If mark hamill reprised the role of Luke skywalker, all of nerdom would cream their pants

Mark hamill will be legend just like the old Ben kenobi or any other old and powerful jedi

 

I suppose. I just like to remember stuff in their glory time.

 

Then just watch the original trilogy on DVD whenever you feel like and don't go see any new Star Wars.

meh on the luke god like thing. If they make him a very dark character, I'm on board. I just don't want it to be another superman character that can't be beat.
