The TV remote.

 

But of course. No one thinks to clean TV remotes even at home unless it's got clearly visible crap all over it & then they are forced to clean it.

 

Needless to say, I don't use the TV remote in hotel rooms.

Years ago, my (then) mother-in-law was out with a friend for lunch and grabbed a handful of complimentary mints at the register. Her friend smacked her hand and all the mints went flying. My MIL just stared at her and said "What'd you do that for??!!" Her friend said "You never know who stuck their hand in there last! Coulda been a crusty old dude who didn't wash his hands after handling his d*ck in the bathroom!"

Mom never ate mints from the complimentary bowl again.

 

...And now I never will, either. I wash my hands but that doesn't mean that everyone else does!

 

Haha! Fortunately, if places still offer mints, they're usually individually wrapped. *whew* It's safe to eat the mints again.
