I know this is all hypothetical,but if you were unknowingly communicating with your spouse or s/o over a long period of time you 2 would have to had traded info that outer each other. For the sake of answering the question: I'm already busted,yet I haven't done anything wrong YET,so I'd come clean.

It might not be coming across clearly because Stizzy's scenario is an updated version/different spin of a classically infamous 'dating classified Ad' story. The original had a married couple corresponding through a traditional dating site, unbeknownst to each other.
