If it's a "Not In My Neighborhood" mentality then "yes" people usually will not care about black or brown kids unless it one they personally know. If this were to be equal playing field, then all kids would be off limits. If they legally tried to make it only black & brown kids who would die in a purge, that would probably be the thing to get at least black & brown people to fully unite and fight the system if not everyone else as a whole.

Not really. Plenty of average joe knuckleheads use, abuse & kill pretty women on the regular. The only thing that makes Women's looks "valuable" are men's egos.

Its like that now but blacks and browns can't unite. Its sad, but true.
I also think it wouldn't be said out loud but like everything now they would pay closer attention to certain neighborhoods over others. To honest it would probably be a class thing. Rich kids are completely off limits, poor kids don't matter. Its how we operate.

But its not publicized, let it be covered by the media and everyone pays attention. I notice this shit every time some pregnant white woman went missing or their kids. 24 hr news coverage till we figure it out but let it be Maria Rodriguez no one gives two shits and thats whether they have money or not

Black & brown don't unite now mostly due to what you said earlier. Always people thinking they are going to make that come up and become part of that higher tax bracket. Same reason why black folks are no longer united as they use to be and can't get their shit together within our own communities now. So yeah, it is and would be a class thing more than anything.

No one sees themselves as a worker and before they realize it there will be no more work

The media as we know it now would probably not be the same in a "purge" type society IMO, so I don't know if the same type of coverage of current & daily affairs would be taking place. Certain things would have to change in some major ways to allow a "purge" society to fully come into being, especially if they are trying to get the overwhelming majority of the population to buy into the shit.

I agree but I do think the majority would buy into it because people all have this disconnected relationship with reality where they think the bad shit can't happen to them. So a purge is ok because they truly believe they'll be ok. I think I might coin this "The Lottery Effect"

There's leaked EFX test shot footage for Marvel's Ant-Man movie that was shown at the San Diego Comic Con last year. The quality is really poor compared to what's seen in these GIFs made from scene of the test shots.

ant man could be a definite turn if they do it right

same with guardians of the galaxy

with iron man, thor and capt, i think these two movies could be a change of pace..explore new areas of the world that you really don't see or just be something totally off-world with space battles and all kinds of crazy shit

I think that's the whole idea with trying to introduce lesser known characters & concept from the Marvel Universe. That's also why both Luke Cage & Black Panther movie buzz keeps being brought up every now & then also. If Marvel had the rights to the characters that other studios are/were allowed to handle like Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Punisher, Blade & Ghost Rider they would have had a decent & diverse stable already.

Top guesses out right now are a younger Nick Fury in flashbacks or possible grandson of Gabe Jones, the character Derek Luke played in Captain America, since Gabe Jones himself was a SHIELD agent in the comics or rather use to be.

It's a stretch, but maybe he might be playing Patriot, the grandson of Isaiah Bradley. In the comics they tested the Super Soldier Serum on Isaiah before they gave it to Steve Rodgers. And he was the secret Captain America for awhile. He retired, but kept his powers. Much later on, His grandson got a blood transfusion from him and gained his powers.

Hmmm. Forgot about him. Or being that it's TV/Movie Marvel Universe, could be their take on Isaiah Bradley himself? We'll just have to wait and see what's what.

Back in the early 90s, there was an attempt at making a Black Panther movie. Wesley Snipes was to star in it and John Singleton was to direct it. But there was a problem in raising the funds and studio backing. On the DC side Dan Aykroyd(SNL,The Blues Brothers,Trading Places and others) was producing and starring in the adventure Blackhawk, based on the classic comic books. But, it did not get finished. Power Man has some potnential. I guess they'll get the white actor who played Snake Eyes in the G.I. Joe movies to play Iron Fist.
