Here is a Walmart commercial with "Kelly & Malcom" from Orlando, Florida. Beautiful couple! I wasn't able to find this on Youtube, so here's a clip of it:

Damn.....surprised to see WallyWorld get into the mix.

They nearing desperation anyway. Their sales profits have been dropping for the past 2 fiscal quarters. Wall Street is waiting for the report for 1st qtr 2013.

If Wally continues to decline, you may start seeing a lot more surprising commercials to boost up sales.

 

Best Buy had an ir couple in one of their commercials. They looked a little like this couple. The woman, too, looked latin and not white.

 

Anyone seen that McDonals's commercial where the white girl buys a $1 soft drink and then imagines her perfect day which includes going with her black boyfriend to the carnival? Cant find video link yet.

There is a Toyota commercial I just saw where a two teenagers a black man and white woman sit in the back of the car together, they are each other's dates for prom it seems or some sort of formal.

 

I like this thread, mainly because it's good to see IR relationships in a normal setting. When on TV or movies, they're always faced with some kind of gap they must bridge (mainly WW/BM) but commercials are just average and everyday.

 

I couldn't agree with you more. Anyone who's been in an IR relationship knows the issues/stereotypes that come along with it. I don't need to see that always played out on tv...it's refreshing to see IR couples portrayed as "every day life" because for many of us...it is every day life. When IR is your norm, it's frustrating to see it always displayed as "different".
