Logan rocks! Wonder if Omega Red will be in it...he's my favorite comic book character of all time.

No Omega Red in this one. The Viper (the female in the first pic) & the Silver Samurai are the bad guys in this from what info has been released. The movie is an expanded & modified take on the very first Wolverine mini series that was done way back in the early 80's that takes place in Japan & pitted him against the Yakuza which was lead by the father of his then girlfriend Mariko Yashida. Her half brother is the Silver Samurai, an energy welding mutant who has work as both a mercenary & bodyguard for the terrorist the Viper, which explains how/why they where thrown into the mix for this movie.

Nerd complaint: Wolverine should never look dapper.

Oh yes I know...his outfit and sword are made of adamantium like Logan's claws and skeleton (well adamantium-plated)

Remember when Thundercats ripped Marvel off with their samurai?

How was it a rip off? It was the 80s ninjas and samurai were popping up everywhere

Speaking of 80's rip-offs, do any of y'all remember Thundarr? It "borowed" heavily from Star Wars.

No shit. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anyone? If anything they did the ripping off. The Foot Clan was a straight knock of Marvel's The Hand Ninjas from Daredevil and the turtles being mutants speaks for itself.

Interesting casting news of the Captain America sequel.

Apparently old leather face himself Robert Redford is in talks to play a senior SHIELD agent.

And MMA Fighter Georges St-Pierre has been cast as Batroc the Leaper.
Batroc is a acrobatic French villain.

Hopefully he gets a better outfit in the movie.

So how many characters does that make being introduced in this movie now? Winter Soldier, Falcon, Crossbones, one of the Baron Zemos is rumored and now Batroc.

The samurai in the Thundercats was named Hachiman. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the VR Troopers did not "borrow" from Voltron or even Robotech(Macross), Giant Robo, The Space Giants, Gigantor and Gundam, for that matter. The Japanese were into giant robots a lot more than we were. The 1957 Toho classic The Mysterians was a start, I think.

Thundarr, The Barbarian borrowed from Conan and The Planet Of The Apes(Ruby/Speers, which made Thundarr, had made an animated adaptation of the movie and tv series).

My son and I like watching the different Slender Man videos. The way some react when the game is scaring the crap out of them is hilarious. My favorite one was with a Swedish guy...the way he was freaking out in combination with his accent gave us lots of laughs.

I have been playing Link to the Past & Ocarina of time a little bit on the Wii as a way to wind down after work, but if I do decide to give the walk-through thing a try it won't be any time soon. As far as my Texas accent goes, you may be right; I haven't come across any videos with anyone sounding like I do. lol
