lol speaking of meetings, I have to attend one this morning with the Government people in the city--something about assessments...? lol oh well, it should be fun!
I know for a fact that you're going to do just fine! Weeks of assessments is to ensure that you're willing to handle such positions with little issue.
Our departmental meetings are soooo lonnnng and drawn out. Like, send me an email for crying out loud. And assessments? HA! JCAHO would run through 1,000 red pens if they came to our facility, smh.
This too shall pass. Always stings in the beginning. Go out, treat yourself to a good time...and keep your head up
It's so hard sometimes to get your heart in line with your brain. Often times we know exactly what needs to be done, but our heart strings stand in the way. I've been there recently...so sorry you're going through this
I'd much prefer have meetings at the same time so I can listen better and take down important notes without interruption. Assessments went well today as well! I have another meeting Wednesday morning at 10 am--excited! ....Yes, I'm weird.
Ewww no! I can't do notes. Booo...hissss! Lol. But I'm glad your assessment(s) went well. Good luck next week too
Do you use your iPad to take down notes? Or a MacBook Pro? ....I used my iPad Mini to take down notes for me to write down later in my handy-dandy notebook. (LOL blue clues reference xD I just realized that!)
I take notes on my iPad during every meeting! No one at my work uses paper anymore. Lol @ the blues clues ref
At least you're saving trees. But it's bad as well because people don't hand-write on iPads....maybe...? It's always a good idea though to handwrite just to keep your writing in shape.
I actually do hand write my notes on the iPad. I transcribe it later on my laptop. I have long nails so if I typed my notes on the ipad during meetings I'd drive everyone crazy with the tapping lol
LOL I hate it when people tap SO HARD in their iPad/Mini, it's like "TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP" it gives me a headache sometimes... Then again, I'm the same way with my laptop.....people think I'm murdering my keyboard because I type loud and very quickly--up to 65 wpm--but that's just a habit of mine. I can't help it, so I can understand the loud tappers on their ipads lol :smt102
I hate the elliptical. I'd rather run 10 miles than spend 30 minutes on that dreaded machine. I have to keep reminding myself that my ass will thank me later for my elliptical time now! On a side note...I REALLY want the Nordic Track x 9i!! 40% incline! :smt045
I always spend 30-35 mins on the elliptical...and hate it most times, also. Yeah...working out doing the same stuff sometimes becomes a bore.
