Please don't say that...you're just going through a tough time....everyone goes through them. It'll be better. So just try to think positive! .....okay?

It's Xmas eve here. I've just put the kids to bed after we put out the carrots for the reindeer, the platter of coconut cake and wine for Santa and their Xmas sacks they've had since they were born. They're trying to go straight to sleep, but are sooooo excited....!!!

I've got to wait until they're asleep so I can wrap their presents and put themin their sacks. Drink the wine, nibble the cake and nibble the carrots outside.

I don't know how much longer I have with them being this innocent and full of wonder and already mourn the day that their belief disappears and they become aware. Their joy and innocence is so addictive and beautiful to watch, I love them so much.

That sounds wonderful Tarshi. Love it when people follow traditions like that, it's what keeps families together. Your kids are lucky to have such a loving and caring Mom. I always feel sorry for those who don't know what it's like to have family values.

Very sweet Tarshi <3 I have enjoyed prepping for Santa over the years. My little one is 5, so I only have a few years left to enjoy these traditions too...i like the carrots for the reindeer, very sweet.

We have to make Santa some cookies tonight, before she goes to bed...i wish I could do more for the kids this year, but bills have to be paid so Christmas will hopefully still be exciting for the kids.

My birthday weekend was really nice. Went clubbing w the Mr. after dinner at PF Changs. Had a really fun time w him <3 I got a gift certificate for a massage :) some vodka and a new Zane novella hehe really adore that man...

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I thought I would have one more year of the innocence last year, but a few days before Christmas, her best friend told her. I was so upset I cried.

But it's okay. I still give her presents from Santa and she'll still get them every year.

And you can always say something cool like Santa lives in all of us and is about love and giving, blah, blah, blah. ;)

It is a very innocent story, it reminds me of my childness.. very cute- So much happened since then.. I am thinking of my whole life and I am not sure, whether I wanted to have it as it is, today. But anyway, childness is a worthful time

Happy belated birthday Cher, sounds like it was a wonderful time.

My kids didn't get much this year because of bills etc., they're happy nonetheless.
    Merry Xmas lady xx

    Good point Joanie.

I'm so sorry that she found out just before Xmas. I thought harps was going to as well on Saturday when we popped into the neighbours and I discovered her boys already know. I threatened them with death if they spoke a word

I've bought about near 45 items for Christmas. Some for my mom, a few gift cards for friends, and of course some for myself lol.

I had to confront a sista today which got into a heated argument. It started with a comment she made to another black woman with her in this department store in Virginia Beach with my wife and I doing some late shopping. She made a comment that she wanted me to hear "You see they treat white women like queens yet they treat us like shit". I had to say something. I told her "the reason so many of "they" people like me treat people like you like shit is because you carry yourself and speak as shit without any self respect". She was lucky her lady friend pulled her away.

So far, I've managed to take care of the malware problem. Turns out...duplicated back-up software, so I've deleted it. I'm a little happier now, but still there are other things to wrap up first.

    Totally random:

So I have, or had, a two tier computer desk that I just spent the last hour breaking down to a single tier (long story). I ended up cutting my hand on the damn flat head screw driver and getting my index finger pinched between two of the boards. Now I'm stuck at 12:40 am trying to figure out what I'm going to do with all this shit I had stuffed in this desk that I now have to move and have my room clean by in the morning. Lol...

And Merry Christmas to all <3
