both movies look interesting

nice to see the father/son tag-team in 'After Earth,' but WWZ looks like a zombie movie on pure crack...

The only negative with After Earth : M. Night Shyamalan is directing. The last few movies he's done haven't been on point. Hopefully this will be on the Sixth Sense/Unbreakable level rather than his other offerings.

Yeah, Devil was pretty good compared to the other movies that he'd done prior to that point. The Last Airbender pissed me off to no end because the cartoon is good as hell. How do you fuck that up. SMDH.

Isn't Superman supposed to be the bright and upbeat superhero? This trailer looks anything but upbeat. It actually kind of reminds me of the M. Night Shamalan movie, Unbreakable.

i mean look at how they removed his underpants....you cant be badass in those...

 

I dont like the idea of them stealing the darkness and edginess from batman though. The pain was suppose to be the direct contrasd between them and the fqct superman couldnt get hurt which explained his cheery outlook on the world

 

i know...superman was always like the boyscout, whereas batman in the movies and cartoons was always darker and kinda anti-hero

 

Yes and that maybe why they are trying a more dark & gritty approach because people are forever bemoaning how straight laced & boring supposedly Superman is. Let's see how this plays out and if they have him out of character.

Anybody going to be out there like me tomorrow night at midnight for The Hobbit?

 

We can never sleep on Will Smith. I seriously thought the Karate Kid was gonna suck and it was awesome, I thought Hancock was gonna suck and it was awesome, I thought 7 LBS was gonna suck..... well two out of three aint bad lol. But rest assured Will Smith picks his films well. This will be a reall good movie and believe it or not this is huge for bm and black sons. When else have we had a movie like this? And its gonna be huge. So kudos to will

 

Next week homie I aint teying to be in a packed theater. Colorado ring a bell?

 

Will is not who I'm worried about on this. He always delivers even in poor outings like Wild Wild West. Just hoping Shymamalan doesn't cock this up and actually delivers the goods on this one.
