Many thanks to everybody here for their support. I'm feeling better now, and because of that, I can truly venture forward and make some changes.

I wanted to say thanks to all the nice reps wishing me and my family well during the hurricane. I know some of you want to remain anonymous for personal reasons so I won't shout out specific people. But I really want to say thank you again because when I didn't have power for 10 days reading some of the kind hearted posts and reps really helped out.
I want to also remind some of you reading this that people living in Far Rockaway as well as parts of Long Island and New Jersey are still without power three weeks later. I know times are really tough but if any of you can spare the time to go online and even donate five bucks to the red cross it would help out big time. And for those who live in the tri state a lot of these people have lost everything. Their homes were washed away or damaged beyond repair and lost most of their belongings in the process. So if you could spare some old clothes especially men's clothing since it seems to be the hardest to come by please donate to your local Midnight Run or Salvation Army.

    Thanks again

See I didn't even know this...they aren't reporting it. The MOST lately I have heard about Sandy is about the pets that are lost and displaced and how frantic owners are looking for them. The Media have all but ignored this that you mentioned.

I did see a local news blurb of our VP go look at some of the damaged homes in NJ today. But nothing else. Oh and I did hear last week that NYer's are filing lawsuits against the Electric company there and demanding the CEO be fired.

Its the damn 24 hr news cycle and worst this happened during an election year where bs scandql is more important than people's lives. Well now that you know I hope you can text the red cross with 5 dollar donation. These people are really suffering

Yeah, military taboo sex is much more lucrative news bizness than people freezing in the dark with NO HEAT or ELECTRICITY!
Yeah I def will donate...will look for local relief agencies.

    that shit is crazy

with the cold weather mothafuckas really need that electric if they're like me and using electric radiators to augment built-in gas heat

Oh TDK that is horrible to hear. Wow, I couldnt handle the ten days let alone 3 weeks. That is crazy. I freak out over an hour without power. Glade you have your power back as I hear it is far too cold there to not be able to put your heaters on.

I am clearly too far to donate any belongings or new clothes for those who lost it all, but I can certainly say that I would if I were there. For what it is worth I will say a little prayer for them all.

Thank you for the sweet rep (& everything else), TCFG. :smt058 To answer your question, no I'm really not, but I have faith that it'll get better. I've just got a lot going on these days. As for the other topic, no worries there...it's all good. ;)
