I recently discovered St. Germain (I think that's what it's called) and love it! Anything you can recommend for that? I have a bottle in my cabinet

alright, I have a new cocktail just created in honor of our Cherok, combining her love of moscato and the St. Germain she has on the shelf.

St Germain is an elderflower liqueur that mixes well with white spirits (gin, vodka, white rum). Here we go, so you can follow along at home:

The Sweet Cherok
1 oz Strawberry puree (you can get this in your favorite liquor store...it's what you would use to make strawberry daquiris...Finest Call is the brand name I use)

1 oz moscato (many wines mix very well with spirits...that's how you make sangria!)

3/4 oz St. Germain

1/2 oz plain vodka (vodka, which is, of course, colorless and tasteless, give the drink a bit if a kick, but the amount I use is for lightweights, like, Cherok..,use more vodka, or even gin if you want it more intoxicating)

Mix all this in a glass with ice and stir, not shake it. Strain into a cocktail class or you can drink it from the mixing glass.

I think it is. If you want it sweeter, just add some simple syrup (which is 1 part water and 1 part sugar)

 

A girly drink that sounds yummy.... and something the guys might want to try as well, for a little taste of cherokee *giggles*
