Well when the two black men that I was with in the first place treated me a lot better, you can understand why I would be attracted or start leaning toward black guys. Then after dating quite a few black guys I realized they (those two) were just really special - and black guys are just as liable to be shitty to me as white guys. I guess it takes a crazy man to be good to a woman. :-|
I wouldn't say your statement was fucked up. She can't say her point was the same as yours because she obviously doesn't get the meaning of your post any more than she gets why what she said was so inappropriate and offensive.
In other words, it took you a long time to figure out that people are people, regardless of their skin color. Judging a collective based on individual accounts is wholly foolish, though all of us are guilty of it to some degree or another. When the less than 1% physiological make-up tends to override rationale, we often indulge ourselves in this falsehood of social expectations or stereotypes. And actually, you've been attracting a collective bunch, ranging from the pleasant to the not so pleasant, and that doesn't have a face or color.

I just want to say to all white females (my wife included) thank you. Thank you for the courage that you display in choosing us (black men) as your husbands, boyfriends, and lovers. In a time in which many of you have shown your willingness to look beyond the stereotypes, lies, distortions, and misconceptions to misled your choices, many of you have shown true "profiles in courage" in at least giving us black men a chance.
