For some reason youd be considered a coward if you dont go but she wouldnt be. Its rrally interesting in this world of equality that we still cling to those old gender roles. Guess we arent as evolved as we think.

it's your world, im just in it son

all i know is when the chips fall down, a man will still be a man (except for that dude who vaulted the balcony) and a woman will still be a woman

when the big bad wolf comes knocking on the door, you best believe 9 times out of 10 the dude is the one who answers it

Of course its a sensless tragedy regardless of race but my comments spoke to the absurdity of STEREOTYPES. Young wn are stereotypically more likely to commit crimes like this but when things like this happen we dont spend hours discussing the failings of the white community as if its some innate biological need cor white people to do this like when we discuss murders in places like chicago or philly. You may not personally participate in those conversations but its irksome that when blacks kill blacks its a moral failing reflected on the entire "race". I was only trying to show how ridiculous and insensitive that way of thinkong is. Sorry if I confused you.

Dude you aint lying. I wish my chixk would understand that. She hates guns with a passion and refuses to allow for the idea that one day someone might break in and we're gonna need it. A bat wont work if dude has a shotty

especially if she's the limp wrist swinging it while you're in bed bitching on the forums about racial injustice, during a robbery

You know, that's the second time in a week that you've accused me of being confused by something you said. Again, I will reassure you that I am not ever confused by anything you say.

Why don't we discuss stereotypes in this instance? Because this guy was sick in the head. Being mentally ill knows no skin color. That could happen to anyone.

You can't fix crazy and this guy is bat shit crazy (pardon the pun).

The fact is your comment was uncalled for, but you refuse to acknowledge it. This tragedy affected hundreds, actually more like thousands of people. The repercussions are endless, lawsuits will be filed, etc.

This could have been any person with any skin color. The Virginia Tech shooter was a young Asian guy (read - not a young white guy).

This kind of crazy knows no skin color or racial background.

Save your sarcasm for a thread about the Powell case, or something along those lines.

Kudos to the nice words by Christian Bale. This guy, while he has his problems, is a class act:

Christian Bale has released a statement in response to Friday’s mass shooting at a Colorado theater showing the film in which he stars, The Dark Knight Rises.

On Saturday, the actor said, “Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.”

His reaction is the latest in a wave of reactions to the tragedy, which claimed 12 lives and left dozens more injured.

Late Friday, Bale’s director, Christopher Nolan, expressed his own grief and pain, calling the attack “unbearably savage.”

    Nolan is spot on.

You know, this is apparently the worst mass shooting/killing by one individual in US history. This movie will forever be tied to it.

I read an interview with one guy who was in the mayhem who a day later went to see the move to finish watching it for those who didn't. I get his symbolism but I couldn't get into a movie so soon after. :(

Just read the reason there weren't more fatalities was because his AR-15 magazine jammed and he didn't know how to fix it.

Why is an average citizen allowed to buy MILITARY firearms and ammo???

"On the suspect’s first night in jail, other prisoners serenaded him with a chant of “kid killer” —
a reference to the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old girl.

“All the inmates were talking about killing him,” Wayne Medley, 24, said as he left the facility.
“Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about.”

If Holmes was sent into the general jail population, “he won’t live to see Monday’s court appearance,” inmate Dima Danilov, 22, said.

I have yet to see an expert speak so far who believe he is crazy. He is nothing short of a diabolical killer. He belongs with Gacy, Manson, and the rest of those infamous SANE degenerate killers in jail. Until his execution, of course.

Negitive he should be dropped off in GP so he can fully understand true terror of how it feels to be under the gun ( so to speak) just like his victims.
And may his death be very slow and painful

Three survivors of the Colorado movie-theater massacre escaped with minor wounds, but were left with broken hearts because their heroic boyfriends died saving them.

In final acts of valor, Jon Blunk, Matt McQuinn and Alex Teves used their bodies to shield their girlfriends as accused madman James Holmes turned the Aurora cineplex into a shooting gallery.

Blunk’s girlfriend, Jansen Young; McQuinn’s girlfriend, Samantha Yowler; and Teves’ gal pal Amanda Lindgren made it out of the bloodbath — but they would have been killed had it not been for the loves of their lives.

In the article, accounts are given by each of the girls regarding how their boyfriends gave up their lives to save them.
