I saw a few albino zebras when my man took me to the Nairobi Safari Walk (it's a zoo), in Kenya. So beautiful, but so strange too. :)

Awww, so adorable, makes me want to cry,. And to think we imprison monkeys in labs and subject them to the worst torture for our own arrogant self-interest...God forgive us. :( (it's why I don't like zoo's much either, and can't stand circuses).
Love this pic so much. :smt054

That was the reason, why I've talked about feeling the gorillas. You look at them and you have a serious "understanding" . I understand, what you say about Zoos and I remember, when I was a child that even at this time I could recognize, what was going on with the tigers i.e., just as they behaved/moved. I've had nightmares afterwards. Today, the Zoos I know, I cannot say this anymore. They are very much open and adapted to fit the needs.

In free wilderness, they have enemies and nature is very cruel. In a Zoo, they are not free, but safe...

    Thanks, Chris. :D

    These are precious! :smt049

I'd love to have that place as my back yard.

    Thanks, BD. :D

I bet they're much more interesting to see in person. Beautiful and strange they are. I wish there was a zoo closer to where I lived; I haven't been to one in forever. :)

    Wow! :smt038

Beautiful, Tarshi. Makes me wish I could visit each place so I can see it in person. The third one is especially peaceful looking to me.
