Oh it is KB, some of the worst in the country. With that said, the beautiful monuments DC has to offer is worth the bad traffic and boiling ass weather.
Thanks, Christine. Cool pic. :smt023 Awesome finds, Britty! So pretty, Mama...I love the color! Thanks, Blissy. I agree...many wonderful additions to the thread. Thanks, BD. Amazing shot, BD!
Thanks Tammy Now this is Nature at its finest, oh yeah and the Iguana is nice too. Great post Christine.
Wonderful pics as always Tammy, and again congrats on your new boss woman role.:smt023 Remind me not to get on your bad side.LOL:mrgreen:
:smt060 Luv em! Coincidentally, I was looking at similar pics just this morning and thought I might post a few. I'll save 'em for later.
Ugh, really, it's that bad? I HATE TRAFFIC!, lol. That's cool though, cause if I ever drove from Philly to DC, I'd be coming with my man and he'd do the driving. I'm no fool.
Eyy, what happened in here, Tammy, such wonderful, lovely cats:smt007, BD-stormy great shot and Brittney and Mama, amazing finds...great contributions..:smt038

Oh Bliss- such amazing colors...just beautiful!!!! Unique- when I was passing the Erdmännchen..they've told me to greet their biggest fan..even squashed just to fit into the pic.. BTW..I have seen that their feet look like their hands..pic will follow
Great photos Christine:smt023. With these^^^^pictures, you save me the trouble of having to go to the zoo and getting sick from the smell(i have a weak stomach).
Oh, I know the problem of smells, the reason why I don't like to visit someone in hospital, but Zoo- no smell problem for me (thankfully), besides our Zoo isn't smelling at all, only the elephants maybe, but they are at another corner. It is more like a park, many people go there every day, to make barbecue or just lying in the sun, kids are doing their homework, a lot of playgrounds for kids and and and- it's a beautiful, quiet place The Zoo is maybe 5mins to walk for me, so instead of drinking my coffee somewhere in town- I buy a coffe to go and watch the animals. A man is also there every afternoon, his job is to make a documentary about the Gorillas, he explained me lately alot..i.e. that they don't look in your eyes, so I've had to use a tripod and a moving toy on top of the camera to trick them..
