Oh shit this is gonna get some folks heated http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhraY3akvyNee2p61j
^^^That belongs in the stereotype Section, no?? ^^^ Or maybe the Deletion/Trash Section. Yes, much better. Why give weight to two drunk/high morons who feel the only way they can "uplift themselves" is by trying to denigrate BW. They're totally clueless how pathetic they sound.
This thread & the other one about the same trashy video need to be deleted. They shouldn't have been created in the first place.
There's another thread about this? I just heard about it from WSHH and Twitter, plus all the recent commotion about it...Guess I'm late.
I think yours was first...both were posted close to the same time. I still say neither should've been started. Why would you want to post that ugliness on here? The crap in that video is NOT what this site is about, it violates the sites guidelines, & it has zero value.
Well, I do know one important thing, Tamstrong. If my mom saw this video, she would rather prefer for me to stay single than to date a white female that likes me. These people screw up the concept of black men entering in any type of relationship with a non-black woman for all of us. The mistakes they made should stay broadcasted on here. The dating dynamic (generally) is more complicated for our generation for several reasons, add in the stupidity of others on social media and that makes it more difficult for black men to maintain interracial relationships without taking a lot of prejudice for it.
You're completely missing the point Mikey. The video being posted here makes folks (like idiot trolls for example) think that's what we're all about here. Like Jordan said in the other thread, "nothing good can come of this". Personally, I wouldn't want anyone assuming I agree with the jacked up thinking of the two fools in that video. I also don't like anyone promoting & perpetuating ignorant ass stereotypes, because it serves NO POSITIVE PURPOSE. By posting such garbage, folks are showing support for the ignorance & negativity it represents and the question to ask is why would someone want to do that when there is NOTHING positive to be gained from it.
Its really just a stupid video They look like they just got out of a club and were saying dumb stuff on a camera. Though it was quite offensive- it really shouldn't be on this site.
Well, I'm aware that the site is trying to avoid that. But we're in the real world. How does the real world perceive us? This just makes it appear as if black men date out, it represents a form of hate to someone else. It becomes more of a sociological problem to be dealt with and not really a racial one. Even people who don't clearly identify or subtly show that they're racist could harbor prejudices from it. Anyways, I downloaded it on my computer and saved it for personal use, so it could get taken offline.
If you feel they screw up the concept of BM dating IR for all BM, why do you then WANT it to stay broadcast on here? Do you like to be screwed up? Do you like the perpetuation for some reason? You told Tam we are in the real world, but concepts aren't real. You can allow what two inebriated knuckleheads said to become your realty, but those of us that can see the forest from the trees know that whatever they say, it would never stop a strong BM from entering into an IR if that is his hearts desire.
Well, it's only in this section of the forum, so not everyone would see it. And, no I don't like the perpetuation of it. But it leads people to question the premises of interracial relationships generally even though the Supreme Court says you can marry whoever you want based on skin complexion. It's not just with ours there's a territorial/sociological concern. With white men dating Asian women, it's there too, coming from the Asian men. Same thing with black women dating outside of their race also. Those people, however, can't question all interracial relationships and say they're all based on a negative intention. I'm sure most people are aware of that. I think some people are in interracial relationships because society has moved away from defining white women as being the standard of beauty (1990s/2000s) to now being bi-racial women. (this decade) In the grand scheme of things videos like this just makes certain groups of people more confused and angry when they see interracial relationships. It doesn't really benefit us as another year passes and people do things to reinforce the same problems.
