I understand what you are trying to say, but I cannot agree..maybe it's a tendency in US, but when we talk about race-differences, I can just suggest to go to some african countries to experience how stubborn those can be. There are so many influences in everybodys life that it's impossible to characterisze or to estimate or to find a certain attitude that all men/women/people of a race shoud/must have.
Very good point, there are cultural dimensions at work as well. What he is stating may be more isolated to Western society as opposed to the dynamics of others. Because the experience of an African lineage person born and raised in Africa is going to be different than that of one born and raised in England, U.S, Britain, Brazil, Caribbean, etc.
No, I'm not "obliged" to stick up for my relatives. I said what I said because it's true. I also know alot of other WM who are decent men, good family men, not liars, not cowards. That doesn't take anything away from BM. I, too, note some differences (like you stated in another thread about how you feel when a BM looks at you), and that's a plus for BM. I just don't think it's necessary to tear down one race to build up another one. And, it doesn't seem fair to make blanket statements, presenting them as fact. I respect your experience if not the way you present it. A piece of wisdom for all of us: Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate.
