Honestly, upon viewing that particular image, it was the first word that came to thought. Now, motherly in the context I used is not synonymous with ugly, if that's what you're implying.

 

Motherly sounds a lot like "matronly." Definitely not a compliment.

I assume she's almost six feet tall since Mario Williams is 6'7. She looks normal; attractive but not stereotypically beautiful(covergirl type.)

A lot of NFL players have regular looking GFs/wives in the appearance department. Maybe because these guys aren't as superficial as many of us would like to believe.

When I say a women looks 'normal', or 'regular', that starts from my opinion that MOST women are generally attractive. I don't usually run into a whole lot of butt ugly females.

 

You hit the nail. Maybe they are after something lasting instead of what "the guys" think of what the woman looks like. To me it raises his image that she is cute but not flashy.

 

I've met some of their wives and believe me, most are regular women who about raising their children and being there for their man. You would not believe how many of them are girl-next-door types, and I love it!
