Perhaps people would be less suspicious of you if you shared your real background instead of insisting you have been in the US since you were two. Because nobody is buying that. Your written word, both grammar and choice of wording and expressions point to something else. It sometimes looks like you are using babelfish or something.

I am a foreigner as you may be able to tell from my written word at times, nothing bad with that. Just don't say you are something you clearly are not.

 

It's not just the grammatical style and vocabulary, it's the entire story. It doesn't track very well at all. I find it hard to believe that someone whose family owns all of the beach resorts, large ranching concerns (the largest in South America if I remember right) etc., has made a living as a lap dancer. I suspect someone from that background would have had a yacht full of other options. It comes across as fantasy rather than reality to me, but hey, what ever floats one's boat, I suppose
