If you say so. The truth is administrations don't allow you to teach kids a fucking thing outside of how to pass a test which is why most kids can tell you next to nothing about what they learned that year or go in depth about it because they were studying for a test. At best "teachers" today get to be coaches keeping you focused but you don't actually learn until you get to college. Learning involves an exchange of idea and discussions primary and secondary teachers aren't allowed to do that.
And you keep saying that all corporations don't make their employees stay late but you fail to understand that the work has to be done by a certain time, there are deadlines. If the work isn't done you can't just leave it there until tomorrow at least not in a for profit environment. You're in constant competition. Non for profits don't have the same burden.
Talk about thinking your opinions are facts lol.

i swear, you all just like arguing just for the sake of arguing. it's getting to the point that i'm not even reading most threads because of the tone that's used in them

    We do clinical trials, Andrae.

We have deadlines. And sometimes people stay late to meet them. Sometimes I go in on a Saturday to work on something (or I work from home, since I can remote access my computer)...But this isn't a daily thing. If something out of the ordinary happens, people stay... but to say it's a constant? That's just crazy talk!:partyman:

I LOVE HALLOWEENNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already bought some decorations. I bought a door panel with a witch on it that lights up and is sound activated and I got some purple string lights or whatever you call them when you can't call them "Christmas lights" and I got this other thingy that's hard to describe. Next payday I'm going to get these gel thingies that stick to surfaces and they are mostly red blood splatters that say "BEWARE" and there's a bloody hand print and blood splatters of different shapes and sizes and I'm going to put those all over my 5x7 window. Yep. And I'm going to buy me a little baby pumpkin with my food stamps and carve it. I haven't carved a pumpkin since I was a kid. I'm excited. :D

Same. I was lucky it stopped for a while, just long enough for me to get a nice walk in. I would have gone insane stuck inside all day.

I went to a party tonight.
Everybody was from Saipan or Guam.
I must say that is probably the coolest party I ever went to.
Wonderful food and a lot of singing and ukuleles.... I really did have a fantastic time!!

Funny thing is that the theme was that everybody was supposed to be dressed in green. My neighbor who invited me never told me that, and yet, I somehow was actually dressed in green. My neighbor thought her daughter told me, but I never talked to her before the party. Lucky draw. I would have stuck out like a sore thumb... well, I guess I did anyhow. LOL.

I was flipping through channels and saw this documentary on Tupac and Biggie, and I'm still scratching my head. I've listened to their music and I can't believe people fancy their music. It's all shitty. Way too shitty. Two overrated piles of shit in the entertainment business.
