there's nothing wrong with recognizing your positive traits...If you are an attractive person, smart, kind, funny etc....you should be aware of these things and feel good about them. isn't it funny that people would feel more relieved and open to talk about the negative qualities in themselves....LOL

Everything is shades of grey. I'm ok with that, though I admit to wanting to identify each and every shade. ;-) But seriously, my positive and negative traits are often the same thing. What makes me fiercely stubborn and occasionally inflexible also makes me fiercely loyal. What makes me witty and sarcastic can also render me flip. Etc., etc.
Agreed. I was simply making the observation that this guy must either be very young or very naive or both, because he is always posting comments as if the answers to everything are just so clear cut & simple. If someone is not saying they think they are the biggest,baddest mofo in the world then they are obviously being negative about themselves? That's what I took from his reply.
Ehhh, it's more like our imperfections makes us who we are as well. Those are all viable strengths and for people to ignore that aspect about themselves are truly blind of their own identity and character. You fit the bill quite nicely and there's a word for people like you, velkrum.

Funny, few friends were talking about this the other day, Anyhoo, let me be serious for a minute and suspend my modesty. 1. My sincere and deep faith in Christ (I don’t know how I got here but last couple years my faith has been unshakable) 2. My unbelievable ability to solve critical problems, when you walk in that door you better pray your case lands on my hands 3. Beyond amazing level of energy, can function days without sleep. I am talking about functioning at the highest level. 4. Astounding photographic memory. 5. Great humility (I use to be semi jackass, condescending, talk down prick but last few years my humility has left several ppl dumbfounded). All these because of Christ’s love and blood!!!!!
