Bullshit! Bullfuckingshit! I highly doubt if they put the tag about Sin City on the ad with the black guy it would make it all better. I think regardless of that, you guys will still cry foul and get butt hurt and still look for excuses to paint it as racism, but why stop there? Why don't we all cry racism everytime we don't get our way. I recently been let go from a job. Why don't I go back down there and say that the only reason they let me go was because I'm black. After all, the "evil white man" is out to get us and keep us down. Let's all form a black separatist/nationalist group and fuck white women to get back at the man. BLACK POWER!!!!!!

What did I expect though? This is America after all. There's more racial tension here than almost anywhere else in the world. Blacks were oppressed for centuries because of the fact that whites were too goddamn lazy to pick their own fucking cotton. Because of all those years of oppression and fighting for our rights it would be VERY easy to offend or upset the group that was once oppressed. If we lived in a better world than we wouldn't be having this argument now, would we? The ad would have been a non-issue. Racism/race tensions is one of the reasons why I depise this shithole of a society/reality we live in. Fuck this society/reality. If I could go to a much better world or reality, then I definitely would.

What if a white guy designed it?

Whoever designed it was utterly tone deaf to the implications. I doubt it was intentional, but it's the sort of shit that goes on when people do things without stopping to examine both their privilege and the impact of what they're doing on other people.

The point of the chicken is to point out that non black people like chicken too. Why is it that you have to target black people on chicken? This is blatantly racist. I should be able to grow my hair naturally and not have it look like I am uncivil. instead this thing tries to make it seem like a black person with naturally long hair is not civil. It is tough enough that some black people have to conform with the straightening of hair but now lets take it a step further and call that natural hair style uncivil. geez

My hair is not shaved off. It is not straight and not permed. I do not conform but that image of an afro tries to make it out that a black person with natural hair is uncivil. just very clear.

Please find me a pic of that. It would not exist. It is honestly demeaning to all people who grow afros. It would also be demeaning to the long haired folk to but there isn't a history of calling white people uncivil for having a natural look to them.

Of course, not. There is barely any behavior. It is basing it on looks. That a person who has an afro looks uncivil. If they cut their hair than they will look civil.

You are trying to justify one wrong with another wrong. It is demeaning to reference the afro or the long haired white guy the way they did.

There is some historical evidence that matriarchal societies and religions are more successful than patriarchal ones. Just sayin'! ;)

I am not aware of any evidence for actual matriarchal based societies, though a number have been matrilineal and/or matrifocal.
