Exactly. This guy is funny. When is obviously a white boy trying too hard to win points. Who else would say that Blacks don't do anything to be proud of, then turn a blind eye to Nobel Prize winners. Who but a white boy would would speak dismissively of a Black man because, "he didn't look black enough". Who but a white boy would try to minimize the importance of Vivien Thomas' true contributions by suggesting that he was "only a lab tech." The fact is that HIS techniques, regardless of his position, were the ones that resulted in finding a cure for the "blue baby" heart problem. But, just a white boys earlier in history wrongly took credit for the inventions of slaves and other Black men, so this boy wants to give them credit for that disservice. What can I say, they are what they are, and that's why we have to be vigilant.

Nobel peace Prize means NOTHING, you don't need any intellectual achievements to win it.
Also, I didn't minimize the importance of Vivien Thomas, he was important, I'm just saying that isn't enough to make me proud, it's gonna take a lot more to make me proud, I'm proud of my self and the things I have accomplished in my life, but no, not proud of my race.

I haven't read anything that was convincing on his part, just the classical white boy attempts, like most of early history to use distraction when he can't make a logical argument. The idea of suggesting that Charles Drew wasn't a Black man when he died as a result of car accident, was taken to a hospital, and was refused treatment because he was a Black man. So, obviously he was Black enough, and looked Black enough to be denied treatment. I tell ya, these white boys gotta get a little smarter...
