I call it as I see it. For a minute there, I thought he was assuming the role of a drag queen for the sequel to To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything!

I work for a Japanese company.

As of right now, we have a lot of Japanese people in our building, working on new production lines and doing reworks.

A coworker of mine, who works in the same area I do, was talking to one of the Japanese guys just now, and I didn't hear the beginning of the conversation, all I heard was her say: no more Tokyo. Hahahahahaa. No more Japan. Hahahahahaha.

Really? WTF?? This woman is South Korean. Do they have some feud going on that I don't know about? I didn't realize that in the wake of everything that has happened over there that it was okay to joke about it now.

Wow. That woman is literally crazy. And evil.

My group also took all of the Japanese guys out to dinner on Monday and she was there and she laughed about all of the Japanese guys staring at the TV (showing the devastation), whilst they were waiting for their table.

WTF is wrong with some people??

Thank you, everyone. I appreciate it more than I can say.

Bookie, that person in your company should be reported as far as I'm concerned. What a callous, insensitive, stupid remark to make...especially at work.

Sad to hear. It's a shame that these are the kinds of creatures we are. I lost some respect for humanity if they can't value that all humans have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. :(

It seems like we're no longer guaranteed that we have those rights with the other people you interact with, and instead we have to live in fear and resentment.

No, they surely don't. And yes, it's not normal behavior.

I debated about going to my boss about it. I kept thinking, I didn't hear the beginning of the conversation....maybe the Japanese guy made a "joke" to lighten things up and she went along with it? Then I talked to a coworker and he said, even IF that happened, it was still insensitive.

I agreed. I was going to tell my boss today, but he was in a meeting still when I left for the day. I will bring it up to him tomorrow.

If nothing else, maybe she just needs a reminder about sensitivity in the workplace.

Saty, I believe she's referring to what happened in this country, after she left to go overseas.

I'm just here to ramble. I got off work a couple hours ago. My feet hurt. So I spent a while rubbing them. It felt better than sex. I hate when we get busy at work and people stress out and act like it's gonna be the end of the world if someone has to wait a few extra minutes. I just want to knock them upside their heads because their strees ends up makin' me stressed. If you can't handle a bit of a rush bitch GTFO, seriously why did you become a manager? But anyway, I found lines on the bottom of my feet. Maybe they were always there and I just never noticed. By lines I mean like the ones on our palms. It made me wonder if they can be read, like palms, if there's such thing as footistry that's like palmistry. If there was, I think I would know already, but I'm still gonna google later and see what I find. I'm frustrated a little because I can't get passed a certain level on Angry Birds. I'm kind of sleepy. OMG today was beautiful out. I opened all of my windows. I love to have my windows open! And my windchimes sound sooo pretty. :)
