My kids were watching this last weekend. It's the latest incarnation of the Transformers as a TV series.

plenty of bang but not enough plot! It was just not too believable to see a huge world invasion stopped by 8 avengers and 4 robots.
Well there were a hell of a lot more than four to begin with, but I see where you're coming from. They should have shown other heroes in other countries fighting while the Avengers focused on Kang. They only showed the Black Knight in London in the episode prior and of course Black Panther went back to Wakanda to fight there. The Fantastic Four would have been perfect to have over the last two episodes helping to fight IMO.
im more partial to Armed Assault myself it's developed by the heart and soul of the original Flashpoint they have a 'high command' feature as well, that lets you function on a platoon/company level on the fly, which satisfies the armchair general inside. i was playing through a community-created campaign, that featured high command, and it was pretty fun. You were given around a platoon, divided into 3 squads, and had to clear out a town. As you start moving your squads around the perimeter, they would take fire, and you would have to decide if you needed to pull them back, reinforce their position with another squad, or use your light-armor platoon to blow shit up.
I remember watching this back when I was a kid. It was one of those "non-anime" cartoons that got me into watching actual anime.
A friend of mine gave me a bunch of hidden object computer games that I played & enjoyed when I was off work for minor surgery. Mystery Case Files makes the best ones. A few of my faves are:
That's cool as hell! I'm about to make my way to the PC side of gaming.
The New Superman First they cast a British guy for Batman now Superman. Info taken from Huffington Post Website: Warner Brothers announced on Sunday that British actor Henry Cavill will take on the role of Superman in the series reboot helmed by director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan. Cavill is best known as Charles Brandon in the Showtime series 'The Tudors.' Now, he'll be the face of the superhero franchise, donning the red cape, as well as the press ticket of alter-ego Clark Kent. The film will be directed by Zack Snyder, who stated, "In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield." Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are the producers of the film. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers. Cavill recently wrapped production on "The Cold Light of Day" and stars in the upcoming "Immortals," opening this fall. Targeted for release in December 2012, the new Superman movie will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
Nope, I am no longer watching superman movies. Singer has ruined it like he ruined X-men for me. Killing off cyclops so he could be step dad to a kid whose deadbeat dad in high heels is exploring space. I considered it to have ended with superman 2. That is all!
I didnt mind Bale as Batman you know why? because he's an actor with a ton of potential and versatility. that's all im looking for when I watch movies not too concerned about where they're from, if they're good at what they do just like The Wire Both McNulty and Stringer were British imports (West and Idris's characters), yet they acted so well in the show..you just forget that they're not even American, let alone from Baltimore
