I've been sick off and on for the past 3 months. It's so ridiculous. First it was nearly a two month cold. Then I felt fine for a few weeks and then the stupid norovirus hit me and after that was over, it turned into (another) cold. ARGH!! Anyway, it's been getting me down and affecting my mood and such. I've been very withdrawn and so exhausted and tired. This past weekend, I didn't have my little urchin, so I decided I was going to sleep and relax all weekend. I got a lot of sleep, and basically did absolutely nothing but see one movie and I even worked out a bit on Saturday and Sunday. My mood improved so much. I'm feeling much better all the way around now. It's amazing what a little sleep and exercise will do. :smt023

Feeling embarrassed about my drunken antics last night. Jacob's dad is back from offshore and actually taking him quite a lot so I'm making the most of it. I got too drunk last night though, I lost my £300 D&G watch. Kinda makes me want to cry. It was a good night though. It's a new club and I'd never been yet so it was nice to go some place new and it's really classy inside. I like the kinda people that go there. There were too many guys buying bottles though, I think that's how I ended up a mess. I must have had about 10 dbl vodka cranberries, countless glasses of champagne (hell, I even kinda remember at one point a dude was pouring it in my mouth from the bottle 'cause I lost my glass, ever the classy bird), too many shots of sambuca and more. I wasn't bad in the club, it was after walking home it hut me. Oh well, I'll get over it.
LG, That's the very reason why I don't drink alcohol. I just don't like to drink them, period. If I drink them, I won't be able to remember where I was at. It's not really good for my brain to handle that kind of alcohol. Granted, I already tried with wine. I coughed right away.
you don't have to be an animator to know this fucking sucks: Especially when you take into account that I realized about 30 mins later that this scene was WRONG thanks to incompetent animators and had to set everything up again and START OVER! argh!!!!
LOL! Rendering, compiling, and exporting always take forever P. What's bad is if you're working off one computer then you're just held hostage till it's done because you sure don't want to tie up any system resources doing anything else. Dual 7200 rpm hard drives helps that issue tremendously though, just for future reference when you get that new laptop.
hehe. I've overtaken 8 computers to build my own little mini render farm >.> I'd take the rest if people weren't in here. I give em a few more hours before they all leave anyway, and then the whole lab will be miiiiiine!!!! I'm working on our old machines though. The new ones are all taken up in other rooms. -_- I mean, our old ones aren't anything to balk at, but a 3 minute per frame render is only 1.5 minutes on the newer ones. they're sooo pretty. I will def make a note of that!! i'd love a dual drive. mmmmm. It's so sexy. lol
\ I generated over 12,000 files today. This is part of the final composite. Eventually it will be only one item on a disc, a rendered .mov with sounds. o.o 12 fucking thousand files, 11 computers, 13 hours...I'm exhausted.
I JUST BOUGHT NATE'S CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!!! ...I'm a lil excited. I was not sure what to get him (he's a horrible person to buy for, cause he always responds with "I dunno" when you ask what he wants, or something crazy expensive I can't get like a car lol) so I had him go through a website last night and leave me some suggestions ranging in price from 20-100 bucks so he wouldn't be able to tell which I picked and I had the fexibility to get him something according to whatever price range my paycheck says tomorrow. But I couldn't wait! One of the options he left was a gaming system that plays both NES and SNES games. It was 50 bucks. Sooooo I went on eBay and not only found the same option for 30 bucks, but for 57 I found one that also had a slot of sega genesis games. It's a retro gamer's wet dream. Soooo I hope my paycheck tomorrow says I can spend that much on his present, cause I already bought it so I'm broke til tomorrow. lol Now I gotta go get him a couple of fucking games though. lol But there's a place that sells them not far that has em for like a dollar or two a piece, so that's why I didn't order him any. Oh, and I got him a RED one. It's his favorite colour. Eeeeeee, I'm so excited. I definitely prefer to be the one giving the gifts, it's so fun that way. Sorry, I just needed to share and no one is home! lol
OMG, I'm there girl!!! Soon Athena, I have some recupertating to do then I am going to become dive certified....yea!!! Some day we will meet up and dive....that will be sweet... btw....love the pics....again!
