Why I usually don't look at BBW

It has nothing to do with my ideologies. He's rude, offensive, and completely inappropriate. That's not merely my personal opinion, that's a consensus of pretty much everyone here but you.

I've said this countless times before, I have no issue with people whose opinions don't mirror my own, in fact I like to discuss opposing POVs as I often learn something or end up viewing the issue from a different angle. However, if a person cannot respectfully state their opinion, and discuss it without name calling and trying to belittle and degrade the other person, then they need to leave and come back when they can. Nothing productive comes from cursing at everyone who doesn't happen to share your opinion.

I hear a lot of comments about people on the forum not being open to new people and ideas, that's a bunch of crap. We welcome new people, and for the most part we're open to their thoughts... what we don't care for are assholes and people with suspect agendas. I realize this is the internet, but that's not a license to lose all politeness and just say the most hateful and rude things that come to mind. If you can't treat people respectfully, you need to learn how to do that before you try to communicate with them... and that suggestion has nothing to do with not being open to opposing POVs.

The reality is being overweight is NOT healthy. If you have a BMI over 30 you are considered obese and/or having a waist size of 42 or over is also obese and both are risk factors for heart disease. Being overweight also leads to higher risk of diabetes, hypertension, gout , hip,knee and back problems. Overweight people drive the cost of health care up for people who show discipline in their life.

 

Hopefully you're not talking as if you are a person that has discipline considering you want to continue with the same tired and boring ass subject of weight over and over again as if this shit and the juvenile fucking drama it creates is so damn interesting. Truthfully I'm not for or against the topic but I'm all about fairness and advocate free speech. We don't have to like what's being discussed but we don't have to participate either. I just get annoyed with what seems to be people trying force how they feel on others. Its wrong.
