The Footwear Appreciation Thread

I think this, the foot men can do and act as they wish. As the women who are willing to put up the pics diminish or women leave the forum then Arch shouldn't make a thread and question why, when he had a hand in it. More women have come and gone just since I have been here. I wonder why??!!

I recently saw arch tell fg that her toenails had been too long in the foot thread. I thought in my mind what a clod statement. What business is it of his of the length of her nails?? He is not her man and he doesn't have a say in her nails. It's things like that that show an arrogance. It's gone from a foot appreciation to an insult situation. Remember when the fun is gone if you drove it away...........don't cry. :smt022

I'm sorry you're having a hard time GG, but I understand why. I'll keep you and yours in my prayers and hope always for the best possible outcome for all of you. You know I love you and you know where to find me if you ever need to vent, cry, or just talk about something else to give your mind a break... though I know you have that kind of support elsewhere as well, the offer is always open to you sweetie.

I confess I actually have trouble appreciating the feet as erotic GG, though I know some men view them that way, it's just hard for me to grasp. That's one reason it doesn't bother me to post them, because they just aren't erotic objects to me. However, I'm absolutely with you on your reasoning for not posting yours since your man does view them that way. I would do the same if someone I was involved with had a true foot fetish. I also understand your reasoning for choosing not to be stimulating on the forum visually or verbally, and I completely respect that and am the same way now. I think it just shows respect for the person you care for. Even though we disagree sometimes, we have a lot in common and we think a lot alike.

I'm sorry Jordan if I appeared insensitive, it wasn't my intention, I just often blow things off. For me if the comment comes from someone I don't know well or who doesn't know me well, it really doesn't mean much. There's really only one person on the forum who could actually hurt my feelings. I will say that person has very specific tastes when it comes to things like finger and toenail polish and though much of what I've posted is not to his taste, he has never commented as such, nor would he. If it's not his fav he just says nothing, which actually is when I know he doesn't like it :smt042. But as for making comments about colors they prefer, or toenail length (though that really did surprise me because I didn't think men put that much thought into it), I just shrug it off. I didn't realize however that you were a new member at the time, or that it was the first time you shared pics, that would actually have made it more noticeably inappropriate to me. Again I'm sorry, sometimes I'm just really obtuse, but it's always unintentional, though that doesn't make it right.

I agree that this thread is for the women to share our shoes. I understand that some men have a great appreciation for shoes and don't mind anyone looking. But as I said to GG I do think since it's in the Ladies Room, any comments made should be appreciative, this isn't the place to criticize. Unfortunately I'm clearly not the best judge of that, as I'm really difficult to offend, but in general I think people can stick to the 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all' mantra... and I say people because I've received hand/foot/shoe criticism from women on this forum as well, so it's not just men. So since I've been told on more than one occasion that women should stay out of the Men's Locker room if they want to make critical comments, I think the same should apply to Ladies Room.

 

Espy I did not think you were insensitive.

I just hope the guys know they may be taking their "duties" too far. I think if someone posts a pic and you appreciate it...........say something nice. If you don't then be quiet. If you can't say something nice then don't say anything. A lot of women here go out of their way to accomodate the guys requests. I don't think any comments should ever even resemble anything judgmental or negative. That's just me.
