I was the first one I know on (good quality, or offical) downloaded movies because mother fuckers act like handling a dvd/cd the proper way is the same as engineering the cure for aids. I just don't understand after all these years, why people are still touching/scratching/etc. the important part of the cd, let alone any part. Why would you stack dvd's/cd's loosly, so they can rub around? When Blockbuster was around, I hated, hated going there cause I know when I took out a cd, number one there was going to be finger prints all over the readable side & more than likely a scratch. I don't care how you have to manipulate your hand, but don't touch the readable side (just palm it on the sides with all five fingers, sh!t wear gloves if you have to lol).
You're one of the lucky ones. For real. I bought these cover things that fit onto the bottom of the disc so they don't get fucked up. I put them on all my rare and out of print cds. I never take them out to listen to them because I have a burned cpoy, but just to be safe. Who knows when I'm gonna find another copy of that rare cd?
I doubt I'd be popular with you guys then, my CDs roll around in the footwell of the car and DVDs wait to be re-cased untill I have a spare moment (did them again Saturday) If anything starts jumping when played I find giving it a spit and a wipe does the job.
lol.... oh my, do be careful - your stunning revelation is apt to give BA a heart attack. I suppose I fall some where in between, but then I don't own anything rare or collectible...
