Hell around here you just never know. Men posing as women, women posing as men, non-black men posing as black men... it's hard to keep all the alternate agendas and aliases straight from day to day.

You have a point. Many of the men and a few women are suspect. This place is becoming a carnival you'd see on Coney Island.

All of it is done in the name of 'disturbing the peace.'

They're not happy with what they see in life, so they come here and pretend.

Nope. They're bitter because of the shitty choices they've made in life.

But I don't think they ever comprehend that they aren't disturbing, they're f**kin' pathetic, immature, ignorant and ridiculous... but that doesn't disturb me in the least, I just think they're a waste.

Well, the men seem to outnumber the women.

Actually if you add in the number of BW pretending to be BM, it's probably the other way around. :smt042

Yea, the women use to outnumber the men. It has grown since then. I think the webmaster should start a thread about the history of the forums. it would be nice to read.

I just wanted to let everyone that's interested know that my dad received a good doctor's report a couple of weeks ago. His doctors decided that it would be a good idea to get a radiation oncologist's opinion. When we met with him, he told us that the mass in his lung had shrunk slightly and appeared less dense since his first tests back in June. Since dad hadn't gone through any cancer treatments yet, the doctor didn't think that the entire mass was cancerous. He feels that it is the same fungus that they found in his right lung when they did surgery back in July. As of now, the cancer doctors are out of the picture. Dad will continue taking his anti-fungal medication for about 5 more weeks. Then, he will have surgery to remove the remaining mass so that it can be analyized to determine if radiation or chemo is necessary. We still have a way to go to get Dad back on his feet, but this is the best news that we have received since this all began back in May.

I want to thank all of you that have sent prayers, positive energy, warm thoughts and kind words my way. You don't know how much I appreciate it. It's not something that I will forget anytime soon. :smt058

Thanks Espy, Fresh and Jordan. Jordan, it has been a long road, but when my mom called to tell me that the doctor said that he thought dad had a more of a fungus problem than a cancer problem, I immediately felt the burden being lifted. I thought that I was dealing with everything fine. I didn't realize how much of a toll that it was taking on me mentally and emotionally. I almost felt like I could fly. :D I plan to enjoy every moment of my 'strawberry and chocolate' time. ;)
