GG, I pray for him... May I suggest you go to clinicaltrials.gov and look at clinical trials that are up and running in your area. Just stay one step ahead and never ever falter in your conviction..... Most important of all is that for both your family and your dad. I save all my prayers!

Okay, Tarshi, I'll look into it. When will you be back in LA? GG, thanks for the update and as I told you in my rep, you and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers. And as FG said, keep one step ahead. It doesn't hurt to keep up on the latest treatments.
Bookie it hurts me to hear that you have the ticket and cannot go- . For me it's not possible, but I know, what it means to you. Let's help you
Thanks for the info, FG. I checked it out and most trials are several hours from here, and I don't think that my dad is strong enough right now to do it. I took him to church yesterday, and it's 10 minutes from my parents' house. We were gone a little over an hour, and I had to help him get in bed when we got home because he was so weak. I'm definitely going to keep checking it though to see if any trials become available closer. Thank you for the rep, too. You know that I appreciate it, and the feeling is definitely mutual. Who said that you couldn't come back for it? You're welcome, honey, and thank you for your continued support and kind words for me. They really do mean more than you will ever know. :smt008 Thank you for your sweet rep as well. We all have our struggles, and even though they may be different, it doesn't mean that one is any more important than another. I consider you a friend, and I'm glad that I was available to send some comforting thoughts your way.
Thanks for the info, Espy. i'm gonna look into some of that, cause i certainly don't want to stop running. lol :axe:
You're welcome. I've done a lot of research on natural alternatives, vitamins, herbs, etc. since I'm allergic to most medications, so if you ever want to know about something just ask. For magnesium I'd recommend you go with a Calcium + Magnesium + Vitamin D, ideally one that's got no more than 500 - 600 mg Calcium in it. The body cannot metabolize calcium efficiently without vitamin D, and it cannot metabolize more than 500-600 mg at one time, so if you take more it's just wasted. Taking 500 - 600 mg two or three times per day works best. Adding hyaluronic acid (HLA) helps with muscle stiffness and cramps too, and it's amazing for joint pain, at least it worked miracles for me. I've tested out a bunch of stuff, some works and some I found to be useless, but what I've found that works really works. If you ever want more specific info feel free to email me.
not too sure yet joanie. saff & i will spend a couple of days in vegas after geeky & smooth leave, then we'll fly back to casa geek. let me speak to the saff today & we'll firm up the days. we must meet up, you need a break & you can't waste that ticket...!!!
