I took my little one to Six Flags Great America today. She got a free ticket through school, and it expired on Sunday. We had a great day. We went on a lot of water rides. I actually coerced her to try a family friendly roller coaster, by telling her she couldn't get a funnel cake unless she tried it. She went on the roller coaster. She was scared during it, but it was worth it. During the course of the day she said to me, "I'm sweating like two onions". :smt042 I ended up getting sunburn on my face (I had sunblock on) and now my face itches. I hope I'm not allergic. :smt011

I hope you feel better, IB!! I washed my face with Cetaphil and then I put cocoa butter on my face. I hope that it goes away by tomorrow. So annoying. I'm going to a HS reunion of sorts tomorrow night, and I don't want my face to be itchy!! It was a fantastic day! Once we got there, she didn't want to go in, but I told her I wasn't spending $55 to turn around and go home, and that we WERE GOING IN THE PARK. Then she said, fine, we're leaving after lunch. I said, no we aren't. We ended up leaving at 8. LOL. I knew as soon as I got her in there, she'd be fine and she was.

Oh, my real reunion isn't until October, I think. It's insanely expensive (it's somewhere around $125 a person). Moreso than the last one. And it's a cash bar, which irks me even more. The thing I'm going to tomorrow night, is more with just the band geeks getting together. LOL. I don't think I have calamine lotion. I should go check.
