Please, don't heet me. I had a double cheeseburger. I can get jiggy wit dis. I'm just a beech ass neegah!!!
I was the same way when I finished high school. I started working at a health food store senior year and a few years after grad and learning the things I did while there for a few years, made me realize I never want to eat fast food again. The only places I still go to is 'El Pollo Loco' and 'In N Out' because they use real ingredients. I've completely stopped McD's, Carl's JR, etc. That list would also include pizza places that are owned by those fast food chains. Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc. I don't miss it at all and it has definitely made a positive impact on my life. Heck, just watch the movie 'Fast Food Nation' or the 'Super Size Me' documentary. That alone was all the convincing I needed, aside from the health complications I was experiencing. Just be more conscious of what you eat and make an effort to go to places that serve 'real food' and not something that's borderline 'plastic'. It may take some time and conditioning but its definitely possible and you will appreciate it in the long run. Guaranteed.
but Carl's Jr is soooo goood.. Im in love w their portabella burger, low carb style. But In n Out is splendid!
:smt018 Don't do it. Under no circumstance is it allowed. (At least, that's my take on it and I firmly stand by that.) Agreed.
That's gonna be hard to drop all those restaurants, because that's what I spend most of my money on. I don't know of any good tasting healthy foods, either.
I do their protein style but w grilled cheese on the other hand, I eat fast food like 2ce a year if that. but I cant help it.. the Carl's Jr portabella.. mmmmmm...
Like I said, it will be hard at first but the goal is to eventually drop it all. Kind of like a nicotine patch in the process of quitting. There's plenty of alternatives out there. It's just a matter of being aware of its availability. Give it some time. The key is awareness and taking care of your well being. Good luck with that. :smt023
