On a completely unrelated note, I grow weary of dealing with selfish, egotistical people. How anyone can put themselves above every other human being on the planet is just beyond me. Some people you just really want to smack... hard... multiple times.

Second to them, I am equally tired of people who can't think for themselves and always want to borrow someone else's brain. How did people like that make it to adulthood?

Put the selfish egomaniac with the person who can't think for themselves, and that's just a damn recipe for disaster, and whole bunch of work for me. We need a smilie that's rubbing it's forehead.

No it's not work, if it was work I'd be less irritated, clients pay me to deal with people like this all the time, I'm good at it. This is family, so much more work, no pay, big headache.

Always trying to outrun a car. That' s why they always get hit and why I hate them. They always run across the street, hesitate, then run back in front of you, thinking that they can actually make it, then suddenly *bump bump*. They're dead.

 

I'm the fixer in my family, so anytime someone has a problem they don't know how to solve, or just don't want to deal with, they call me and then just sit back and wait for me to handle it. I'm good at it, but I decided a couple years ago that I was just enabling them all to be immature, and they needed to learn coping skills. They're all bright, they just don't think sometimes, or more precisely they prefer not to deal with unpleasant things. So anyway, I cut them all off except for true emergencies. This happens to qualify though, it involves a major life decision, so I'm lending my aid. But I'm a little tired of the asshole in the bunch making everyone's life difficult. Anytime I have to utter the words 'do not make me fly out there' to a damn 30 yo adult male, it's not good. I got it handled though, for the time being. Just seems like I have an abundance of assholes to deal with lately, time for a break, or a vacation or something.
