I agree with Chicago Illinois. I lived in Chicago for 5 years and for the most part, the people are not only tolerant, they are accepting of IR relationships.
Damn I just left Chi-town today..Anyway I see Detroit is on that list and it really shouldnt be at all...
detroit isnt? ok Philadelphia is on the border, it is quite racist-an interracial couple had a cross burned in their yard in the city last summer. brooklyn is iffy from place to place, and the people arent very nice and stare
Taye, I posted on about this in another thread somewhere. Listen, I just got back to Texas after nearly 10 years in Michigan. The Detroit area singles scene is the worst in the nation. It's not that the place isn't IR friendly, I had my share of IR hook-ups and at least one IR relationship in that area. However, it's the midwest, and that means people do things in a traditional way. That includes dating and mating, so you'll find homogenous relationships more than not. Also, people tend to be very needy, hence they stay in long term relationships, resulting in fewer single people overall. If you have the means, I suggest moving to the South and West. Tennessee, South Florida, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, California.
Well.. I don't know if it is just being needy. One of the things I did like about the midwest was that I thought people tried harder to make a marriage/relationship work, instead of having so many disposable relationships.. but you are right, there are less single.. and from a girl from northern MN.. no single BLK men! why do you think I moved to Cali? it was Cali or TX.. but Cali offered me a job so instead of Austin I'm in LA.
Gotta Agree with the L.A. Brother. 1. THE SAN FRANCISCO AREA IS #1 - totally off the CHAIN! 2. SAN DIEGO 3. Seattle 4. Minneapolis 5. Miami These are based on my own personal experiences.
I lived in alabama and now columbus ga. pockets of alabama are growing in numbers of IR . same with ga outside of atlanta. columbus has a military base and universities thus they come from all over thus IR are common in columbus. huntsville al has a military base also but the demo is made differently ( much older crowd) they do have universities there. like i stated hville is frowing in IR. Birminham you would see it now and then but not alot. you will get hit on but not alot. I got hit on twice. I shied away from it because i was married at the time. Now that Im single Im very into lookinmg at the opportunities I like this thread it is great.

well most of vermont, maine, new hampshire and mass, as well as southern new england is rather working class and poor. ton of poverty in vermont as well. and yes Vermont has IR couples. the few blacks that live there are accepted and much Interracial couples and biracial kids thrive
My tuppence...and heed it for what it's worth: I can't say or stress it ENOUGH.... Stay the HELL AWAY from Cleveland, Ohio! 'Nuff Said!!!! OpinionsCartoonStudios@Yahoo.Co.UK
The Black population is 54.2% of Cleveland. If you looking for sum fine azz sistas then it the place to be.
Majority of the population in Detroit is Black, the city council is mostly Black, the mayor and police chief is Black and so on. May not be the best place for IR dating but the Black women are fine.
Yeah..."if".....the operative word being "IF"!! They *might* look 'fine' on the outside... But in the heart and mind...FORGET IT! ESPECIALLY..............when they see you have a White Mum and a Black Dad. Then ya get to see where their collective head is REALLY at! And, for the most part, it AIN'T a nice-looking sight. After all, why do ya think *I*.. #1 - LEFT that cesspool FOR GOOD in 1997? ...and... #2 - came here to *this* site as a place to touch bases with kindred spirits? It sure as hell wasn't to see about trading bubblegum collectors' cards.. 'Nuff Said!!!! OpinionsCartoonStudios@Yahoo.Co.UK
Definitely San Diego Deserves a mention, one of the best city's for IR relationships that's for sure.
