your body is just adjusting chickie...are you breastfeeding...??? i found mine went a little skewiff after both pregnancies & during breastfeeding. things returned to normal eventually though. i don't keep tabs on mine now because i'm in tune with 4 of my close girlfriends, so when they have it, i have it. i love how we girls can do that...!!!

Na, basically, they use local anaesthetic on the area and make a small incision and "inject" it. It's around the size of a matchstick. It doesn't hurt one bit. The one they market in the UK is called Implanon and it lasts 3 years. You can more or less forget about it until it needs to be replaced. For me it's better than the pill because I am hopeless with remembering to take meds and it gave me pretty bad side effects. To remove it they use the same procedure in reverse I believe. I'll find out in November lol. I had light spotting this month, not sure why but it wasn't bad and I had no pains. Apparently it's normal as the hormone isn't so strong the longer you have it.

Mine didn't settle back into a normal pattern for about 6 months after my Daughter I even had 2 periods in 1 month a couple of times aswell, I did speak to my GP but she said that It takes 9 months of adapting for your body to deal with pregnancy and that it's only fair to give it 9 months to get back to normal. :D

Are you drinking some attraction hormone because I get no love on here whatsoever, except from the women, which is cool and everything, but come on....... my charm alone should be bagging some bitches here:smt029

    Good job!! :smt023

Yeah, I can totally see that. My ex was supposed to have our daughter this past weekend. But the horrible storms we had on Friday made him stay too late at work on Friday night. And he surprised me by calling me at 10:30 on Saturday to pick her up. I was shocked!!

But, I was going to have to pick her up for a family party at 3, so I told him I'd just drop her off after the party.

But, sometimes they can surprise you in good ways.

Yes, Miss Spunky Spunk definitely deserves a monthly award for just being her spunkalicious self. ;-)

Yeah, I've thought about that too, and the fact that it could be a 'false negative'. But, I don't really feel pregnant. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I knew it...now I don't.

I'm convinced there's no such thing as TMI on here, LOL. :smt042

Anyway, yeah, my period was always kinda regular in it's irregularity. I'm hoping something is going to pop up here soon. If not, I'm gonna call my OB/GYN and ask her what's up. I definitely don't want to do the pill - did that once, and it just messed me up in all kinds of ways. I just wish I would freaking start - I'm like a big bag of hormonal nonsense.

Not breastfeeding anymore...I was, and that kept my period away longer. But I've had 2 regular periods since she was born. I guess my hormones are just out of whack still. Ugh!! And yes, it is crazy how being around the same women everything month can synchronize your period with theirs...lol

man, girl...I hope I'm not in for that!! :-? You poor thing - that doesn't sound like any fun.

That is true. I might give my doc a ring though...we'll see. Alright...enough period talk for now - the men are going to get scared off....lol :smt042
