yeah, i just rarely have time to get on in the evenings, b/c i'm in full mommy mode at home, lol. at work, i can piddle all day...but evenings belong to my munchkin. :smt050

As it should be. You are away from your little girl all day and I am sure every minute at night is precious. If she ever is in bed early enough go in chat and put up a message here. I love when the ladies around here get in and have a solve the worlds problems with humor session.

 

Yes, indeed! I treasure every minute with her in the evenings. It's hard, b/c I only get to be with her for about 3hrs or so before it's bedtime for her. But I make it work. I'll definitely have to try to get in there one evening. I always tab out a window for the chat room while I'm surfing the boards, and check it periodically. Maybe someone will visit me some day, lol.

You know the best thing to do is to look at who is on the boards. If it is people you like, then you go to the chat room and hope they notice you are in there. Right now I think whikle is the only one that has peaked my interest. Usually when I am in there, a dude who thinks my nick is for a woman visits and then leaves when they figure out that I am a guy. That's why I am not in there as often as I use to be. I also don't usually have much to say.

 

Thanks, Jordan!! It would help too, if the stupid time stamps on the posts were accurate - is there a way to change them?? mine is like 4hrs off - so annoying!

awwww, lol...i'm sorry. that sucks.

that is a good idea to hope someone notices that you're in the chatroom though - i've done that before. sometimes, i just go sit and go about my business until i hear someone pop in. then, i just hope for someone interesting who has good conversational skills.
