Just question. What looks best: Short cut with waves S-Curl/relaxed Perm/Straight Afro Dreads Cornrows Bald
Depends on the man really, and what works for him. Some guys look good with dreads and some look better with a short cut. Basically what looks good on one guy may look really awful on another. Same with everyone really, some women look good with really short hair, and some look better with long. It's all about what works with the shape of your face and your features. For a BM though, I am partial to bald, it's really sexy on the right guy.
I'm rocking a mini-fro right now. My family seems to think I look best with the short cut, but I find it boring and generic (makes me more boring than I am in real life). I want to make up for what I lack lookswise. I've always liked long hair and envied those who are able to toss their necks.
I'm a fan of natural hair; I don't do much with my own other than take a curling iron to it or blowdry it sometimes, and someone much fussier than me would drive me batty. I like afros or short cuts or dreads, or even bald, depending on the guy. Cornrows get messy so fast.
Personally I like a short-cut or bald. But I have seen some men who could rock a 'fro or dreads. I like cornrows, but, like bK said, it doesn't take long for them to become a complete mess. And on top of that, I've seen some people who suck at doing them so they are a mess to begin with.
Do whatever you feel comfortable with Smooth. It's hard to feel confident if you don't like an aspect of your appearance, and hair is an easy one to change. Personally I think long hair only looks good on some men, BM and Native Americans can wear it well, but it always looks skeezy on WM IMO. My daughter has a guy in her class that tosses his and runs his fingers through it all the time and it just grosses me out. She calls him Bropunzel. He really needs to cut that crap, it's halfway down his back and it's just not an attractive look. I think if you're going to have long hair, at least keep it clean and neat looking.
I'm sorry but you forgot the pic to accompany this statment. :smt081 You know we need pics. I like bald, short or dreads but really if the personality is right I won't care tons about the hair just the guy under it.
I don't like bald, but apart from that I agree with what Espy said, it depends on the man. My favourite is short though, a number one or a number two. I like dreadlocks but they must be neat, and I don't like them too long. I like little afros and braids too, just with no stupid patterns in them!
I would love to rock my afro, but I lose hella hair when I pick it out, so I leave it alone. I relaxed my shit, so it would be easier to comb, and "stumbled" onto a new style. It's kinda spiky n' shit. More straight up top, and on the sides, but curly in the back. I gotta put more activator in the back of my head, than anywhere else, if I wanna get my curls right. I wanna get that big ass messy fro, like Redman was rockin' in 95. That's my goal.
Horse shampoo and conditioner, specifically Mane and Tail, has made my hair a lot stronger because for awhile, I had hair falling out like crazy. I cut all of it off in a pixie, washed it once a week with Mane and Tail and my reg shampoo other days I washed, and even brushing it hard, not that much comes out. It's crazy thick now.
Nope, it's pretty cheap for a big bottle. I used to buy it in bulk when I had horses. I used the shampoo for myself too. And the dogs, and the pigs .... lol ... Mane and Tail made a great hand lotion too. They also make a conditioner too. Straight Arrow is the maker. There is another that is a knock-off of it. Not as good IMO. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...ubref=AA&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=0029428000000
I prefer a short-cut or bald, but, as always, I agree with Espy. It really depends on the man. I think that if you are comfortable and confident with whatever choice you make that others will believe it too and think that it looks great on you. Smooth, I'm sure you will look great with whatever hairstyle you choose. :smt023
Bald heads freak me out, so not keen on them in general. Short and simple does it for me oh and dreads can look hot as well - I prefer dreads no longer than the shoulders though
